The place and the parking lot were dark. Of course, we were there before they opened! But it still would be nice to have the vehicle in the lot with lights, not in the corner under a tree. My biggest complaint is the vehicle had no gas. I was lucky there was a gas station right next door. They had several hours to put gas in it! The day before I was scheduled to pick up at a different location and it was changed to this one and extra 20 miles for me to drive to pick it up and then to start it up with 10 miles left in gas is infuriating!

My issues were with the other two locations that transferred my truck rental at Grayslake, Il and in McHenry, Il. I rented the truck Three weeks in advance and a couple of days before the Grayslake location said they did not have any trucks available and transferred my order 35 minutes out of my way. So I went to the McHenry location and when I got there I received an email as I arrived and it said they transferred my order to the Carey location that was another 30 minutes out of my way. I did get the truck there but they did not have the 24 blankets that I paid for and had to go back to the Grayslake, IL location to get the blankets. I wasted a lot of time and gas money that I think that I should get quite a bit of money off of my order that nobody even offered me or said we are sorry. This put me behind for moving from Illinois to Michigan by 4 hours. I did not get over to Grand Rapids, Mi until 2am and had to get back up at 8am to start unloading.
