Considering your UHAUL app rarely fully works,, this location is very helpful. They are very nice and manage the reservation on their side that they can access. I reserve through the app, get the text with the link confirmation and then show up to the location, tap the link to "pick up truck", only to have "You have no reservations" happen the last two times. One time, I just redid a reservation on the spot (in 20 degree weather) and got my truck. Yesterday, they did it manually for me even though I had a reservation number from Uhaul that showed up on their end, but I could not complete the process on my own. For other rentals here or at other locations, the app struggles to accept photos and you have to go to the bottom of that section, and retake photos and refresh manually every screen until it eventually posts the vehicle photos. (Yes, I am on active wifi at these locations). The convenience of the app needs work. I spend 45+ minutes picking up a rental almost every time, which is usually 3-5 times a month.

I am pleased and can’t think of anything I would change. Maybe the application speed in terms when I was ready to depart I was not able to take a picture of the license plate and van on your online application. I did take pictures of the truck and plates on my smart phone as well as the front control panel showing mileage and gas fill.

christopher pThe whole process is painful and confusing. - I get messages to "check in" before I pick up the truck but when I click through, it just shows me my rental information. I can't upload my drivers license photos etc. I had to do that in the freezing cold on the sidewalk where the app told me to place my license on a flat surface. Where? The dirty sidewalk in the wind? - The nice person at Orlando had to call me and leave a message with the instructions for getting the keys. The app also did all that except the code for the key lock. Can the app do everything? Wasted time listening to the call very carefully when a typed out code in the app where I can find and read it would be better. - The app then wants pictures of all sides of the truck but it's parked against a building so I have to move the truck to take all the photos which kinda makes the photos less valuable. I also had to wait for cars to stop so I could stand in the middle of Ashland Avenue to get the driver's side photo. Can't you take all the photos prior and I can just review them? - While I have the van, the app is sending me messages that I have a van rented out and when to return it. I'm FULLY aware of this. Are people forgetting to return your trucks at such a rate every single customer has to be constantly interrupted during the rental? - Returning the van I have to stop and get gas at 2am for 1.5 gallons of gas when you're already charging me on a per mile basis. Can you just add the gas to the milage charge so I don't have to do that? - Then I have to do all the photos again in the dark of night which is a really uncomfortable thing to do these days. This one is bit more of a pain to solve but if you could I would pay extra. Maybe needs a 24/7 office. All this to say, I appreciate you're trying to save me money by having to do a lot of the work but I would happily and joyfully pay you WHATEVER YOU WANTED so that I could just pick up the keys, drive the van away, return the van, drop off the keys and be on my way. Even short of that experience there's a lot of room for improvement like being able to take care of the license photos etc ahead of time.
