This truck needs some work. Runs like hell and the engine light is on. The body is pretty scratched up. Would hate to take this on a longer rental.

I had called to see if a truck was available to rent. I was told that there were no trucks available. I left my house and saw 3 trucks in the parking lot, so I went in and asked. The man behind the counter told me that he needed my credit card and ID. I thought it was odd that he didn't answer my question, but maybe it was policy to see if you could rent one before they would tell you the availability, so I handed him my cards. He then asked me what I was using the truck for. I told him that I needed to pick up lumber from a local store. He asked how many miles I would need. I told him that I wasn't sure, but I was going to the Home Depot at the next exit. He then asked me if I wanted the Safe Move insurance. I told him no, since I was literally driving to a store, putting lumber in the truck, and unloading it at the school behind the store. He told me that I couldn't rent the truck unless I purchased the insurance. I reluctantly agreed, as I had to have the truck to fulfill my commitment at the school. He told me that I would be paying around $78 dollars and had me sign the receipt. When we returned with the truck, a new person was behind the counter. He was friendly and asked us to turn in the keys. I asked if they would check the truck because I knew I drove less than half the miles on the original order. He told me if there were any changes, I would know when I got the charge. I knew I would be ordering a truck for 4 hours for $19.99 plus milage, but I was lied to about purchasing insurance (I googled it when I got home), and no inspection (I swept out the truck-which hadn't been done previously-and overfilled the gas). If I didn't need it when I did, I wouldn't have agreed to this. I will not be renting from this location again.
