Trailer had some kind of fluid stain all over the front of it. The inside was clean, but the outside was not. Location did not really seem ready for the rental and I had to tell her that all my info was pre sent on the website. Dropping it off, they did not even come out to check it after I did all the un hooking. I would much rather have rented from the UHAUL center on Missouri ave in Clearwater where I originally booked it for.

The owner of the place was very attentive, but the situation overwhelmed her. I had hired a moving crew to help me, and out of the 3 hours scheduled, I literally lost 1 hour and a half waiting to check in the truck. Supposedly the system was not working properly, but from the store they could not do much more. My first experience and very traumatic. On a moving day where everything is planned down to the smallest detail, I could not have spent more than an hour and a half just to pick up the truck. There was no plan B, I had to wait and it caused a major disruption to my move.
JUAN LThe $20.00 after hour fee is unacceptable ?? I delivered the truck at 7:50 am and nobody was there??
MARK CNot a review on the location but U-Haul itself, scheduling manager moved our pickup location into Tampa, when we were in St Pete, and we still had to drive to drop off in Clearwater. Had to change pickup location into Valdosta three times to even get a truck. Very aggravating to deal with.
Jake RThe issues are not with the equipment or personnel, they are with the website service--badly designed. I know because that's what I do. First, (this is personal) too many web trackers. Second, wrong sequence of events: First we enter all data, then a f888ing Captcha brakes the process and we don't get the confirmation number. This causes 2 new issues--a truck is booked but we don't know it, so we book a second truck at a far away location. This means more time and gas for the user, and potentially a second truck is booked which nobody can rent. Correct sequence: Place the Captcha first, before we input data. Simple. People pays a premium for "Easiness of Use." Plus, we don't waste time or worry what happened to my data, is it safe, etc.?
