First off this has nothing to do with the location. Service there was amazing. My issue is with Uhaul directly. This was an unacceptable and unsafe rental experience. They sent me out with a 6x12 dual axle trailer that had no tongue jack, no published tongue weight, no warning about the very real risk of injury when unhitching alone. The dual axle design shifts the pivot and loads the suspension, so the tongue is even harder to lift than people expect. I was left to manhandle it and I strained my back. Now I’m dealing with pain and the added costs of pain management. This isn’t a minor oversight. It’s negligence. Without a tongue jack or clear instructions, solo renters are set up to get hurt. And if your tow vehicle had trouble on the road, you’re basically stuck, unable to decouple safely. For what they charge, providing a basic tongue jack and a real warning isn’t optional. It’s the bare minimum. Stop passing this risk on to customers. I truly hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

TIMOTHY CDid not receive two handtrucks I requested. No one told me they were out of stock. Had to learn the morning I picked up my U-Haul and was still charged for them. On top of the additional miles I had to pay for to go find a handtruck.
