We dropped off after hours.
KEVIN TMy issue with drop off isn't all due to the location. I took the photos requested and dropped the key in the box. I continued with the app to tell them about a tire I believed was flat when I picked it up, but was drivable and the app told me to type in English. When I pushed the back button, it started all over. I couldn't access the truck (because I'd dropped the key) so I entered the location. I asked to speak with someone about returning the truck and that I couldn't get the app to work. Two men said "No problem, what's your name, yep I see you here, we'll get it returned for you" and sent me on my way. Two hours later I got a message asking me to return the truck. I called the location and spoke to a different person who works with the UHauls. She didn't know I'd returned it and hadn't heard of the potential flat tire. She said she'd take care of it. A half hour later I get a $96 charge on my credit card from UHaul. I called to find out what the charge was for and she said "You didn't leave the blankets". I told her that I reported in the app that there weren't any blankets, and told the pickup location there weren't any blankets. In the end, she spoke with a higher up and all is supposed to be credited back to my card in 3-4 days. And in the end, she took care of things. I'd say drop off was a rollercoaster of helpful, not helpful, helpful again, and the just frustrating.
