This was a terrible experience and I would not use Uhaul again
Wouter RI had reserved my uhal truck on June 3 2024 to move across the United States. We got a voicemail at 6 pm on Saturday night June 23rd the night before we pick up our truck saying it was not available. We had to scramble to get a truck with the next day being Sunday. They gave our truck and auto transport away, and wanted to charge us more money. With my walls down ready to load a truck that they gave away is unacceptable. I would not recommend ever using uhal again. What’s the point of a reservation if you don’t have what you reserved 3 wks prior? Also, moving is stressful enough with the hassle of getting a truck last min. Definitely very unsatisfied, and unethical.

Despite the fact that U-Haul corporate managed to mess up our reservation, Provide us a location for pick up that didn’t have all of the resources that we had reserved, And pushed back our pick up the day before by several hours, this location helped us get all of our ducks in a row and get our move started. U-Haul corporate couldn’t have screwed things up anymore, but these folks did their best to make it right.
