Reserve equipment in advanced for those that reserve in advanced. I had to drive across two counties and 30 min farther that my desired pick up location because my equipment was not actually reserved by uhaul until 48 hours prior to pick up. I requested my equipment from you weeks in advance. This is poor management on your part and not fair to the customer. Truck was received with damage to the box of the box truck. The damage was bad enough that I could see light from the inside and water was able to get in and get my stuff wet during the move. Uhaul recommended 4 dozen moving blankets for my move. I requested 3 dozen. The place I was sent to by uhaul had zero. When I called customer support on this the told me 'uhaul places don't usually have that many moving blankets.' Why even suggest 4 dozen in your quote building software if your agents never stock that amount? Why send me to a place that has zero moving blankets?? TERRIBLE management on your part!
