The after-hours pick-up using Smartphones was horrendous for this old and tech-ignorant couple. It took us an hour and a half to get help and fiogure out how to use the app, etc. That was an hour and a half of "daylight for moving' wasted. The return was a little less stressful. :) It's not Uhaul's "fault" but there should be an easier way for people over 50 to function in this world. :)

I returned the trailer a day early and still got charged for an extra day. There's no way in the app to verify when the return was made when the location is closed.

I was able to schedule the rental ahead of time through the uhaul app, pick-up/drop-off the truck while the uhaul rental location was closed, and then pay for everything online during drop-off. I never had to speak with anyone. It was perfect! No stress at all. I highly recommend uhaul.
