There must be someone responsible, when accepting a Uhaul to rent out, to verify that all systems are operational. To appropriate a vehicle in nearly 100 degree temps, without verifying the a/c is functioning, is negligent. The inside of the truck was clean; however, because their rentals are parked in a dirt/gravel lot, and possibly not dried after washing, there is a layer of caked on dust/dirt on the panels, so the truck doesn't appear clean, or presentable, from the outside. This isn' t on the level of importance to the engine and a/c, but it didn't leave me with with a good impression...

Very narrow entrance, I was on time dropping off the truck, however person took longer to receive my truck, which resulted on me being charged an extra day
