Original rental cost of a 4x8 trailer from Georgia to West TX was $140 when we booked it on the phone with a Uhaul reservation representative. Contract terms at that time were just fine; clear, and precise. Equipment was in good condition and we made the trip w/o complications. 5 stars. Where we get down to 3 stars is at the pick-up location in Georgia: First, we were driving to Hinesville area of Georgia from West TX and had an ETA of 4-6pm arriving at Uhaul location in Glennville, still west of Hinesville, so we planned to get the trailer on the way to the hotel in Hinesville. This fell perfectly in their "open" times listed on Google (open until 7:30pm). We got a call from pick-up location asking for our ETA. We told them. They agreed that was fine. Then we got a text saying they will be closed until 6pm. We said ok. Because of them not staying open for our agreed upon ETA, we drove past Glennville around 4:15-ish and didn't want to sit there until 6pm, so we drove to our hotel in Hinesville. No sooner did we arrive at our hotel around 4:45-ish, we were sent another text telling us they were in the office. So we got our room and unpacked the car, got food, and drove 30 mins BACK to Glennville. After driving for 2 days, 24 hours total, and planning our route to within a 2 hr window for pick up, during their already listed OPEN hours, only for them to add an hour of driving unnecessarily was annoying but not what ultimately got them their 3 star rating. (And we would have done a 1 star but didn't want to hurt Uhaul because of one of their locations) While we were there showing ID, confirming info and hooking up the trailer, $70+ was added to our bill for insurance (half the entire rental cost). Uhaul reservation rep we asked the very next day when we discovered the charges in our bank account, said those kind of fees are applied at pick up time. No one asked us if we wanted it. No one told us we were signing anything for additional fees. It was never discussed, just added by them. Why? How does this benefit them? We should have been asked and made aware. We were also not given a copy of our contract, which Uhaul rep said we should have, and we would have seen the charges. Our final reason for 3 stars, we called the pick-up location on day 2 of our 6 day rental, to ask these questions. In true form, they never answered, never returned our calls, didn't care why we were calling even tho we stated "we needed help with something."

Love renting from them
ELIZABETH PNo recommendations at this time. Jenna DeLoach is amazing, she is a great representative for U- Haul. Will definitely rent from her in this location again.
JOHN FAlthough I was at the location the U-Haul app did not recognize it and made the pick up process by phone very frustrating and took almost an hour. I would not recommend this location for pick up using the app.
Brandy FCall customer incase of a change at drop off location. We requested a nearby location for drop off. Instead we had to travel an hour out to drop uhaul off. Very inconvenient.
