I originally reserved the trailer and an appliance dolly for pickup at the Maynardville HWY U-Haul. The day before I was to pick up the items, I was told they were not available there and I would have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick them up at Nan's Treasures - adding 1 hour to my trip. Once I got to Nan's, she said she didn't have any appliance dollies in stock. I called customer support and spoke with Heather. She was extremely helpful, but she was put in a bad situation. She say Nan's had 8 dollies in stock, but Nan was adament they were not there. So, I had to drive another 30 minutes out of my way to pick up the appliance dolly at a Clinton HWY location, adding more time to my trip. The experience was terrible from a customer standpoint. Heather in U-Haul customer service was exceptionally kind during the ordeal - the only bright spot. I will try all other options available before using U-Haul again.
Brian PWith regards to the drop off location, Nan made it very inviting but the location is a store selling used furniture and lots of nick backs.
LARRY THorrible return experience. Lots of issues that took days and many calls to customer service for resolution.
Christopher LNana's (where I rented it) was a convenient place to get a trailer, and I'd rent from her again.
