I’m very pleased with my recent experience. I had some hiccups with the app, but the online support from Ashley was great. Even the location staff were able to assist. Both, the truck pickup and return process was a breeze.

After hours drop off was inconvenient. The front gates were locked so I had to go through the back. But the key drop is at the front so then I had to go all the way around again. They also forgot to give me my dolly that I paid for.
BETHANY LWhen I received the truck, it wasn't full of gas, and I handed it back the same way I received it, and now they're charging me a gallon of gas. It's not fair.
GIANNINO SLet me be clear as I start this review, I am rating U-Haul's systems and communication as only 3 stars. The staff at Hill Country Feed were excellent and efficient. However, my experience with U-Haul on the day prior to my pickup left a lot to be desired until I finally spoke to someone willing to help. I called on the Thursday before my Friday pickup to see if I could possibly pick up the truck and equipment earlier than I had originally set for the next day. We were driving in from the DFW area and had timed everything o it would work with the movers. It was THEN AND ONLY THEN that I learned that particular location didn't carry additional equipment. I would have arrived on Friday to pick up a truck with no furniture dolly, utility dolly, or moving blankets. I was told to call Uhaul and let them know so they could find a location where I could pick up these items. I called and long story short was rerouted each time and told I would have to call around and I would have to find a place who had what I needed and pick it up myself. The two people I spoke gave me little to no assistance except to transfer me to someone else. Finally, after an HOUR in the middle of my workday, I was able to speak to a lovely woman who worked with me to find the equipment that I needed in my area of DFW. She was also able to find out that there was no available equipment in the Leander, Cedar Park or surrounding area. She found that out in about 10 minutes instead of me having to google other locations as had been suggested to me by the first two Uhaul reps. The system should not allow you to rent equipment from a location that doesn't have the equipment. While we were waiting on Friday to pickup our truck, another customer came in expecting to have equipment and was also told there was none. C'mon U-Haul, do better.
