The location provided no rental contract info, but also made it seem like it was an inconvenience to them that we were picking up our rentals.
DAVID RDon't ignore customers when they enter their place of business. Acknowledge that you are aware that you have a new customer and that you will be with them shortly. When you do get around to the customer, make sure you properly get the vehicle and trailer turned in instead of waiting 24 hours before terminating the rental contract. Just because I'm not buying anything from your store doesn't give you a Right to look down your nose at me. I will be talking with the area supervisor promptly.
Frank DMy only issue was that I had returned it early on Saturday, asked the staff If I needed to check it out myself and they kindly said they would take care of it. Well, they didn't check it out until Monday so I was hit with an extra day charge when i had turned it in early. Disappointing, however I should have just checked it out myself rather than trusting it in someone's hands, lesson learned.
Katherine MPositive: they are only ones in Livingston area, so it is good to have them as option. The owners helped to park a more than full lot. They came out to help direct to unhook car dolly. Negative: Hard to find space to park equipment. Check in was done by owner a day and a half later. Dropped on Friday night and email check in for equipment was Sunday late morning, by Uhaul drop location. The door said business hours for Uhaul was 9-3.
