I had the best experience I have ever had dealing with U-haul today. Your representative Brian Bradley was fantastic, from the minute I walked in the store he was friendly, professional, outgoing and a true pleasure to do business with. When I returned the truck he met me outside to ask how everything went and again was a pleasure to work with. I have just moved to McKinney TX from the Chicago area and had planned to rent a storage locker at a place just down the street from my house but because of the level of service I received today from Brian, I'll rent the locker from his U-haul location. I appreciate all you guys do. In the future I would spec the trucks with USB so I can plug my cell phone in without having to use an adapter. The ford pickup I used did not have one.

Way too expensive. For what I needed to do, I would have been better off renting a Minivan from Enterprise with unlimited mileage. I drove the Van for about 4 hours for a total of 100ish miles and paid $99. So, in the future I will be looking at an alternative to U-Haul. Thanks.

Great service. The manager seemed concerned with our complaints. He quickly filed an incident report. Just no follow up from uhaul. It has been a month since the report was filed and I haven’t heard from anyone at uhaul.

ONLY Rent vehicles that everything works on! We rented a 26 Foot Truck that we drove home to load up and later after loading found out the Air Conditioner didn't work! Had to drive 18 miles down the highway with windows down to cool of on the hottest day of the YEAR! I was not pleased, when I asked the representative about it, he didn't seem to be concerned in the least. The only problem I have had now, and in the past at this location is the back-up of trailers and trucks right in the front. It is such a small space. It not only blocks the minimal parking spots, but then you are trapped in when dropping off. There is TONS of room in the back. I would suggest during working hours making a drop-off spot somehow in the back just to help with the flow of business and traffic that accumulates in the front.

The truck I reserved for 10AM was allegedly returned to another store. The manager didn't really seem to care that we were on a time line and had the move planned out. He said we could come back at 2 and he should have something. I said I would call to check first. Of course I waited on hold for an eternity before deciding to just go to the store. Had to wait in a long line again. Had to manually get the truck rented. No offer from store to compensate me for not having the truck as I had reserved. Employee did reduce mileage price by 20 cents but only after I mentioned it. I figured I should get the Sunday mileage price since most of the move would be on Sunday since getting my truck was 5 hours late. Then I received the text message to log damage. Of course that didn't work right so had to go back inside and wait in a long line again. Employee came out and we did it the old school way. The gas on the sheet showed over an eighth of a tank more than what the gas gauge did. I didn't say anything at that point because it would involve me having to go in and wait in a long line for the 4th time that day and I was already 5 and a half hours behind schedule. I returned the truck 25 miles over my estimated 35 miles due to having to change my route up a bit to meet other time schedules. I also returned the truck with the quarter of a tank of gas it originally had. The check-in guy squeezed me for an additional 7 or 8 dollars (3 gallons) in gas, after I explained to him the previous days fiasco. He billed my card. I was never offered anything to compensate me for the inconvenience they created. I was given 20 cents off after requesting it since most of the driving was done on Sunday anyways. I went into the store to complain to the manager and guess what...…? Another long line that I would have had to wait in!!! I would be willing to bet that the manager gave my truck to the three cute young ladies that were in line in front of me because I was 28 minutes late and they drove off in a 15 footer. There was also a guy in there who reserved a truck a week ago and they didn't have his either. He needed a 27 footer and they offered him a 5x9 trailer for the regular price. Again they were not sympathetic to the guys timeline much like mine. Worst experience ever with U-haul. Hopefully someone will call and make this right.

This location rented a truck to someone else under my name. This person came in to the store the day before my reservation was scheduled, changed the size of the truck, the duration of the rental, and the insurance coverage. Even with all of these red flags that maybe this person is not the correct person, the cashier - Shelbie - did not check their driver's license, because my number is on file with U-Haul. How did they know that I had a reservation scheduled, and that they may be able to take it? Who knows. I do not have a common last name, so it's not like they said "reservation under Smith." The explanations by the cashier made no sense, although she eventually did admit that it was her fault she didn't check the license - which should be standard practice. When I arrived to pickup my truck the next day, the only thing they could do was "wait and see" if the other truck was returned. I was assured the GM Kevin was informed and had put an error message on the account so that my card would not be able to be charged when the incorrectly rented truck was returned or if it was late/not returned. Big surprise time - the truck was not returned on time, and I received a call from the GM Kevin that my truck was late and he's going to go ahead and charge my card for an extra day. He apparently had no clue/recall of this glaring issue. Once re-explaining the issue, he then proceeded to tell me he was too busy, he needed to investigate the issue, and that he would call back. He never called back. Really solid work there. Luckily, the person did end up returning the truck the following day, and agreed to change it over to their credit card. However, they still have the rental agreement paperwork with my personal information on it (name, address, phone). This was a huge mistake, that fortunately had an ok ending. Being busy is not an excuse. As for my poor rating on the equipment, the truck I did rent was not swept clean (the guy that moved it to the front for me "swept" it with his feet), and the driver's door latch was near useless. P.S. - I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Brian Bradley. Although he did not play any part in the mistakes, he did stay in contact with me through text to provide updates. He is probably the only reason this issue was eventually resolved.

I spent 30 minutes online making a reservation so I could walk up and get my vehicle only to get to the location and wait in line another 20 minutes to go through a 15 minute reservation process after providing all the information online. A complete waste and disregard of my time. No apologies for the inconvenience from the staff. If U-Haul is going to claim to have enhanced reservations experience, it should truly make it enhanced. It felt like a bait and switch approach commonly used in car dealers to lure a customer in only to be sold something they didn’t need. I will not return to this location, will not refer any friends to it, and will do everything possible to avoid the U-Haul brand ever again.

Customers should be told to expect up to 1 hour waits for a truck, when renting with a reservation on Saturdays. I ve recently waited 1 hour 15 and 45 minutes in the last month. Its due to your first month free. The 800 # operators that answer (when you dial a local # for

my experience was terrible I scheduled movers threw uhaul and they didnt show up costing me lots of extra money I had to keep the truck 2 extra days due to this and uhaul did not care or reimburse me.

Book another location and notified with hous that my location change had to but an extra the drive. We be butter if a location doesn't have a truck dont rent out a truck that you dont have.

Only one person working the counter and a line of customers. The night before my reservation date, they changed the vehicle I had reserved and when I attempted to call customer service twice was put on hold so long I just hung up. U-Haul quality and customer service is second rate compared to the other truck rental companies I have used. The U-Haul center in Mckinney was okay, but the U-Haul corporation is the K-Mart of the truck rental industry.

Every time I go to this location I wait a minimum of 30 minutes for service. It's always understaffed and very disorganized. I had to wait for over 20 minutes for them to find furniture pads that were already supposed to be in the truck.
