So I got the uhaul rental with 1/2 tank of gas. When I went to refill the gas back to half a tank from 1/8 of a tank. The slip that u haul gave me said 11 gallons would take it back to 1/2 tank. So I put 11 gallons in the truck. It filled it to 3/4 of a tank way over 1/2 of a tank. So I talk to a lady when I dropped the truck off and told me it was my fault and nothing they can do. I understand it's in contract but that was not my fault I was going off of uhaul paper. I am not satisfied at all.

The whole process of returning this was awful. Even the calls to the main numbers. no one could help me and everyone kept transferring me to another person. I will never rent from u haul again. Last year we used penske and they were so helpful and no issues.

The staff was very helpful after explain the rented truck had serious mechanical issues. The door opened twice enroute on IN and PA turnpike from WI to PA and would not lock. I had to ask people to help slam the door closed. Safety issue to say the least. Truck out of alignment/to right. Shifting issues with jumping. Brakes were weak or inoperative. I had to chock the weeks to make sure it did not get away. Counter personal did say I owned .39 cents when I turned it in due to mileage. So, big news here, the odometer is incorrect! I have receipts and a mileage log to show I used less than the rental allotment. Also, should I get a mileage/ credit due the fact I had to drive 20 miles out of the way to get the truck? By the way, your truck does not get 10 miles per gallon. How about 4. Never again will rent from Uhaul.

Not charge them for dropping off a cleaned vehicle at 9am if you can't take it till then.
