Fuel was not to 3/4 as it was supposed to be, truck reeked of cigarettes. Did app pickup and did not know to report lower fuel u til after I’d signed the contract and made it to my destination.

This was a convince store. It was changed from my original drop off location. Would have much rather have dropped the truck off at my original location which was the main U-Haul location in my town
Tommy MThe store was dirty and crowded, the person that we interacted did not seem very familiar with the process of renting equipment. They also did not inspect the equipment or hook it up. The Trailer was damaged and had temporary repairs that only held until I got underway. The car dolly on the drivers side appeared to have been hit by something and the fender was broken from the supporting bracket. There was a small screw attempting to hold the fender to the dolly which did not work. I had to make repairs to this before I could continue my trip. The passenger side tail light was also temporary fix but did not hold. The rivets for the light to secure it to the plastic fender had fallen out. Someone attempted to glue it back on but it did not hold either. I did not see these issues until I was already on my way because they had been temporarily fixed and the trailer was not inspected by the store.
