DO NOT RENT U-HAULS FROM THIS PLACE. When we got there, we had to wait about 45 minutes because the truck had the "Check Engine" light on. There were no other trucks to rent in the area, so we decided to take it anyway. The man at Napa Tire and Wheels said he just needed to release the truck to us and make sure we weren't charged for the "Check Engine" light. When I returned the truck, it said the mileage was over the limit. I drove it 185 miles, but the records say 817. I called Napa Tire and Wheels and asked about this, and the man on the phone said he'd deal with it. I was charged $671 extra for these "additional" miles. I'm still dealing with U-Haul and trying to get reimbursed. The man who works at Napa Tire and Wheels didn't do the paperwork right on his end, and now I'm the one who was overcharged and has to deal with U-Haul and getting reimbursed. (There's no way I could have driven 817 miles in the time I had the U-Haul. We left around 11:45 am and dropped it off around 8:00 pm. Please explain how I could have driven 817 miles, IN A U-HAUL, in about 8 hours? All while moving my stuff?)
GRETCHEN SEmployees are rude and not helpful. Truck was dirty inside and out, The air conditioner didn't work and the radio didnt work either.
CARRIE BThey didn’t give me a receipt and I got two phone calls. Told I don’t need one. Felt like I had to prove that I didn’t steal it.
ALBERT HI tried turning the trailer into another location, but I was told by the attendant at the location on Imola that Silverado Trail was the only location in Napa that accepted trailers. The attendant at Silverado Trail simply told me to unhitch the trailer and leave it in the drive. No assistance and bad attitude. Oh, and by the way I am a 100% Disabled Vet and will do everything in the future to avoid doing business with the Silverado Trail location.
