There were very little instructions given not even have you driven a u haul before? Had trouble with the tow/haul setting which was never explained to us. We tried to call for immediately assistance with that but no one quickly answered we were put on hold an wound up having to turn and go back just to ask. We had not driven a truck with such a setting before and made it feel like something was wrong!
i worked with the Acton MA location. They sent me the link to return after hours to my cell phone.They told me where to park when I came back. There was a cheat sheet about how much gas to fill to bring it up by the â…› of the speedometer. This was all missing at this location. the return process is still very challenging and not streamlined, but still better than nothing.
The paperwork indicated the truck had 9881 miles and the fuel gauge was at 7/8. As I was driving back to my house (about 3 miles away), I noticed the fuel tank was a tick below 3/4, it wasn't 7/8. I also noticed the mileage was 9906, not 9881. I should have checked this before I left Uhaul, but given that I didn't, when I got home I took a picture of the dashboard. I then called Uhaul, and after waiting on the phone for 15 minutes, someone finally responded. I told them what happened and they said they would send me an email with a link. That link would take me to a website where I could update the faulty information, with the correct information. I told the customer service rep, there there was no link in the email. They said they would therefore apply the correct info themselves. When I brought the pickup back to Uhaul, I explained what happened and told the guy at the desk that the customer service rep I had spoken to, updated the website with the correct mileage and fuel tank reading. The guy at the desk said he didn't see any updates anywhere on the website. So apparently I wasted my time calling the customer service rep. The guy at the desk then told me the only outlet for me was to show him the picture I took of the dashboard. Thank god I took that picture. So the bottom line is there was a lot of incompetency with Uhaul. First of all, the guys at the service desk should go to the truck themselves and verify the mileage a fuel tank amount and then fill in (or update) the contract form accordingly. Instead they rely on the customer to do that. That being the case, I should have verified it before I left, but given that I didn't and given that I contacted customer service when I got home should have rectified the problem. Instead, none of the info I passed onto the customer service rep, got into your system and so the guy at the desk, when I returned the truck, could not verify what info I passed to the customer service rep and left me with only the photo of the dashboard of proof of what I said. The guy at the desk accepted the photo, as the timestamp was 15 minutes after I left Uhaul so it was obvious the picture was legit and he did the right thing and I was not charged for the wrong mileage etc.. Very sloppy service said there was no info showing

The guys that got the van especially the gentleman with the ling hair (I think his name was Daniel) were so funny and friendly. We wanted to go back just to chat with them.
Returning the uhaul after hours was confusing. It wasn't clear where to park, and I was having difficulty connecting. There should be a more efficient user friendly way to return
Worker needs to fully inform their customers all the details when it comes to rental time, drop off location choices, prices and any type of extra charges. They also need to be aware of how they talk to customers because my experience was disgustingly rude. With language and tone. I will never rent at U-Haul again.
Hire and retain more associates like the one who serviced my rental. I had to wait too long since he was alone, but I am happy with the job he did.
Only 1 person running the desk with a long line waiting to check in/out vehicles. Paperwork was not closed out correctly and required multiple calls to correct issue.

I had options In the nashua/hudson NH area for Uhaul's to choose from and thank goodness I chose 286 Daniel Webster Hwy in Nashua. The reason being is because I had the best Uhual experience ever with Shane K. He was very professional, Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this Uhaul to anyone in the area or within thr radius of other Uhaul stores!!
Double check to make sure trucks are accurately checked in. See below for full details. While they were helpful to put a note in the contract, the other location did not communicate it properly and I was charged $1600 over what I should have been charged. It is being reversed but never should have happened.
All though it was VERY busy, process was quick and painless. Returning the truck was just as easy.
Two guys there were not professional. One was worse than the other, his name was Cody maybe. Equipment was not available and I had no notification. I was severely inconvenienced, these guys were NOT helpful and Uhaul wants to give $50 for my troubles. This was a horrible experience and I still spend over $3,000 and I got nothing. Poor service, poor communication with a not my problem attitude. Still waiting for a call back, but I don't really expect one. If they do ever call I am sure it will be disappointing and continue my frustrating. Never again

it was completely self-service as I dropped off at night. All instructions were clear, the web app was fantastic, and kudo's to the upload pictures right in the app, what a great useful feature.
