This was by far the worst experience I have had with Uhaul. First, the location of the truck was switched and I was not even notified. Next, the mobile pick up feature (that I have used over a dozen times) was not working. I was stuck waiting on my “rental qualifications” to be verified. And because they didn’t have a representative at the location, I stood around for an hour trying to get someone on the phone that could help. Then, I had to stay on the phone while customer service canceled my original reservation and created a new one so that I could finally get the truck. Lastly, I was told that I could drop the truck off at the nearest Uhaul location but when attempting to do so, I got an error message stating that I was at the wrong location and if I returned the truck there I was going to get an additional fee. Overall this was not a good experience.
Keyana MWhile we didn’t meet the team at Manning Mini Storage, I can say that they were very friendly and helpful when we called to extend our truck usage. Not only did they not bat an eye at our request but they also setup our storage needs over the phone and got us squared away without ever having to step foot in their office. All of the documentation was done electronically making the process seamless and smooth. The team here were extremely kind when we made a mistake and didn’t turn the truck in on time and managed to help us extend our usage by several days for not much more cost than what we had already paid. Thankfully we didn’t need it and turned it in a day earlier. We were able to turn the truck in after hours using the U-Haul automated system and moving our storage into our unit was easy, too. We highly recommend using Manning Mini Storage for your needs.
