Had to wait 30 minutes for the guy to get their even when I was 30 minutes late myself. I tried calling, went to a cell number and the disconnected.
James SFirst off tried calling to ensure gate was open since it is a gated location. Call answered with a burp and a hangup. Called back was told to leave equipment outside the gate. I was concerned as I had a 15 foot box truck with auto transport. Was informed he could park something 40 feet long there. Dropped off the equipment with about a foot off the highway as I got as close to the gate as I could. Took video of interior to include mileage and fuel level. Then complete walk around and interior of the box. Left keys under the seat as directed (even though they have a key drop box) and left. Checked my bank account later on to find I was charged 60 dollars. Called location was told they are closed for the day and I would have to wait until Monday to find out why he charged me. Called corporate sent in video and was refunded my money. Had I not had the video proof it would have been my word against his. Would absolutely deter anyone from using this location. Charges were for fuel level not being high enough, location and staff leave customers wishing they had made other arrangements.
Ryan WI was redirected to this location nearly AN HOUR from my home (and I think charged for the extra miles, thanks), notified 1 day before my moving day that 2 hours of the next day would be wasted just picking up the truck (which turned into 3 hours due to the following). This man was terribly rude. He didn't even bother showing up, sent someone else and had the guy call him from the parking lot when I arrived. Tried to check me out over the friend's cell phone since we weren't even allowed in the building, but it wouldn't work. Called another employee for help and was telling that guy how he's "supposed to be off on fucking weekends," among other obscenities. Made me feel like a great inconvenience to him while I'm handing him over a grand. When I called him out for his language he told me if I didn't like it I could get off his lot and find another truck. If I were U-Haul, I would seriously reconsider being affiliated with this trashy location. Seriously, I was looking for the hidden camera thinking this can't even be for real!
