Took forever to get paperwork straight, rented an enclosed trailer. It leaked, steady flow of rain water and lights didn't work. Half way on my trip, at night some driver informed me of this. Now my wiring was checked and passed from a different location. I also asked the attendant to make sure lights work at rental location

Location checked in wrong customer and my truck was not available. Second truck offered was parked in the mud and couldn't be moved. Only avaliable truck was the most expensive option avaliable and nothing could've been accommodated price wise. My spouse already left to help begin moving so I was stranded with the only option paying for a bigger truck. On return, associate at location said he will take care of it but never checked me back in.
Hayden B.I had to drive another 4 miles to return the truck to this location. I found out after dropping the truck off I was charged for the extra miles. I was charged for milage picking up the truck and returning the truck. I placed a phone call complaining about the extra cost and have not heard back from a UHaul repersentive. I am not happy

Thomas R.UHaul hours published on the UHaul website are not accurate. I would have given a "below average" rating had the attendant not been so helpful and the store manger making it work out over the phone. I wanted to do an in-person/counter check out. This location said they provided that and upon arriving that was not possible as the UHaul person was not there. I could not do a remote check-in either as the clerk tried to help with that and apparently the reservation was locked into "counter". Clerk called the store manager and hey made it work out, but after I left - much later than planned - I didn't have a paper contract. They also told me I needed to return via remote check-in. I took a picture of the dash/mileage. Once I was able to review the emailed paperwork that came through, I noticed that the contract stated the gas was dispatched at half, but that is not where the gas was when I departed and I have photo proof. After calling customer service to to inquire, I was told that I could return at the same level and dispute further charges or return at half and dispute the extra gas. I elected to return at half and dispute. During remote check-in, via the iPhone application, the app crashed during the check-in process. After relaaunching the app, there was no indication I rented - no existing rentals and the truck did not show in past rentals. I was left having to call the customer service line again, wait for a representative and then ensure the vehicle was checked-in. More of my time wasted. The entire experience, from start to finish was horrible. Last, the inside of the cab had all kinds of grass and dirt on the floor boards that I cleaned up when returning to ensure that I wasn't held responsible. I did speak with a customer service representative with respect to my dispute on the fuel issue mentioned above. I will apparently be contacted in 3 business days regarding dispatched fuel.
