The web site said that uhaul would inspect the and vehivle placdmdnt , but was told I had to assemble two on auto tea sport myself. Thank goodness the gentleman and my friend were able to figure it out because I would have been stranded! How can you rent an auto transport and not supply so done to secure it, especially when you sell the insurance and ask for a press heckle visit? The webbing straps were extra day torn!

Rude, inconsiderate, misleading, unsafe, inconsistent, knowledgeable, unhelpful, ...your money, property, and family and womens courtesies are with complete aggression and disregard. A horrible experience with continuing problems that never seemed to get resoved... an attorney and a back up storage space is needed if doing business here...

The check-in process was very slow. The agent, Ellen(?), seemed very perturbed and extremely short, like she was having a bad day. She was arguing with another gentleman that was trying to help me 1st. I rent from here frequently, and typically this is my "go to location" and would rate this location very high in the past. Now because of this experience it is difficult to even get to Average. The agent Ellen gets 'F' for customer service. If it were my business, I would write her up for such poor customer service. And if no change she is in the wrong business as she did a horrible job at serving me as the customer.

The team at this location was friendly and helpful. They were quick and accommodating, which made our experience effortless!

been customer for 5 years or so at this location. made reservation of a 5 x 10 trailer enclosed that they said would come at the 5 x 8 price. when I arrived they had no record of the price discussed and I had to beg and ask for the manager to get it. then the gal just tacked on the insurance without asking if I wanted it. the whole transaction was kind of creepy in that she was on the radio with the manager (headset) so that I could only hear one side of the conversation and also texting someone below the desk and also whispering to the guy next to her. She made me feel like I was a nuisance to her. I think it's new ownership -- I didn't recognize anyone there. I won't be back.

There were no major hic-ups this visit. Looks like a new crew and even though much younger, their customer service skills were much better than my past experience

I am very disappointed. I rented one way for one day (Fallbrook CA to Encinitas CA). I was told I could get approx $60 off is I dropped it off in Oceanside CA instead of my preferred location. After considering both options, I decided my time was more important and I choose Encinitas. When I finished, I called the number and was told - sorry, no Encinitas places can help you...the closest one you can go to is Oceanside. And guess what? No body honored the $60 dollar discount I was originally offered. Why didn't you tell me that no place in Encinitas could accept my return. It was a cluster, took extra time, cost more, and I had to pay more in gas. Very, very disappointed. The drop off place in Oceanside said I had to call the pick up place in Fallbrook. The pick up place in Fallbrook told me to call reservations. After 20 minutes on hold...I gave up. You win - not impressed at all.

I was told I could drop off the trailer that I rented after hours and not get charged an extra day, or as long as I had the trailer dropped off by 9:00 AM the next day, I would also not be charged an extra day. However, I was indeed charged for a whole additional day, even though I dropped it off the same day I was supposed to, after hours. So, if the trailer is returned before the store opens the following day, and the trailer is available for renting by other customers that day, then why am I being charged for that entire day? I rent many trailers from this location, and this might be my last time, unless they make this right.

The yard attendants that helped with the trailer (retrieving it, attaching it, helping with the new tongue and ball) were great! The problem was the next day when I returned the trailer. The desk clerk wanted to charge me for two days when I had it for less than 24 hours! I don't believe it was her fault but it seemed that whoever drew up the initial paperwork did not complete it correctly. I was only charged what I should have been but still, it was an inconvenience for me.

Special callouts for Pierre, and Brandon who were both extremely helpful. Truck was clean, and ran well. There was a bit of a communication issue when I called uhaul the night before I was to return it, as I needed to extend my rental, but I was able to resolve it the following day.

Picked up a uhaul with trailor. An hour later still there because they didn't maintain their truck and wires. Lights weren't compatible with the trailor because they neglected to maintain their fuses. That hour they took up went into my moving day and ended up paying extra because I didn't make it back in time. Not my fault. Didn't even offer me a discount. Was very upset.

there was some workers there whom don't know nothing. while on my return the next day, I found some stuff very much in the know.

Third time working with this Uhaul location and have had nothing but positive experiences. I would definitely recommend this establishment and will certainly use them the next time I need to rent a vehicle. Thank you!

Nothing, service and equipment was great.

Make sure the hitch is correctly seated so that the trailer doesn't jump off while on the road.

I know things happen but when I left the location and got on the freeway I was met with some traffic right away. When I hit the brakes the hood flew open on the freeway. There was no damage but I had to exit the truck on the freeway which was moving slow, but was moving and close and latch the hood, which was apparently not latched. No further issues

The people that checked me out were GREAT, very helpful and even said “Hi Tom” when I opened my door. I was shocked with how friendly the gentleman was, how prepared he was for my arrival. GREAT guys and family.

Nothing that I can of, the UHaul location staff was very helpful and friendly and made the return / check-in process very fluid. Two thumbs up as well and 10/10!

Cargo van not available. Computers down. Idiot behind counter put 4 [FOUR] charges on my credit card for a 1.5 hour trip. Idiot billed me for another person's bill. Idiot billed me $150 deposit without telling me first. Idiot over billed me. Manager should be fired for incompetence. Idiot should be fired for incompetence. The protocol for no computers should not be CHAOS. Not MAYHEM. Not FIASCO. The location should be shut down for 48 hours, manager fired, and everybody re-trained. I will never ever go to that U-Haul location again. There was a skinny women with no uniform or Uhaul insignia shouting at everybody "you can't park here!" She shouted it at everybody, when there was no place to put your vehicle except RETURN EQUIPMENT HERE. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED OR RETRAINED and made to wear Uhaul ID. There was a man refilling propane tanks in the parking lot [who worked for uhaul] and he was the only person outside when I returned the vehicle. They should use orange cones to mark off a drop off spot.

The system was down this morning and it took almost an hour to get the truck with a reservation or if you wanted to pay cash. The person helping me was new. The manager was helping another customer and trying to tell him what to do since the system was down. I told him I wanted to pay cash for my rental. The manager said they needed it to hold it but nothing would be charged so I gave my visa debt card. The young man called the credit card authorization line to make sure my card was good. The manager wasn’t clear what the young man needed to write down on the piece of paper. He didn’t get the authorization code so the manager said you are going to have to call again. I dropped off truck I ended up paying $90 with a different credit card. After I left, I had to go back to the location because there were 2 charges of $150 each on my visa debt card. The young lady who completed my transaction earlier took all my info down for the manager to follow up to make sure that the two transactions were not charged.. I’ve been in management for over 25 years and I completely understand about technology and when it goes down how it can have an effect on business especially when there are new employees. In these situations, perhaps using a back up form with all the pertinent information that is needed when the system goes down. The form should be clear and any employees and especially the new ones can I understand what they need to write down instead of writing it on just a blank piece of paper. Thank you.

The manager Ryan was absolutely horrible and rude. Ignored us for 20 minutes when we walked in without even a single word said to us. They were having computer problems so he wrote down everyone’s credit card numbers on a piece of paper where everyone could see it and also refused to take my cash deposit. Because he wouldn’t take my cash deposit, him and Elena called me NUMEROUS times throughout my moving day threatening me. Beyond words. Pierre helped us a lot when we returned our truck and has amazing customer service while Elena talked to me like I was an idiot. Then when we were leaving, some guy working there yelled at us about parking our car in a parking spot and got in my face while I was in my car. Pierre had to tell him to leave us alone.. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. I’ll never come here again and I’ll tell everyone I know never ever to come to this location. Absolutely disgusting people other than Pierre. Worst experience of my life.

Make sure that whe an item is turned in during business hours, that a receipt is sent promptly. I received a call today asking me why I had not turned in my truck yet. I told the lady that I had turned in my tow dolly (not a truck) in early yesterday afternoon and that I had not received my receipt yet. She said that I would receive my receipt once they logged in my return. That should have been done yesterday.

Ryan the office manager isno at all nice to work with and when I tried to cear up a billing problem because of a area of damage that was clearly marked on Green Tag but billed $150 anyway. He hung up on me & when I called back 3 times to speak with him he refuses to call back. Very bad customer service. Never ever will I recommend this store.
