They also didn't ask if we needed to buy a lock so we ended up looking at Walmart and nothing available and had to order one on Amazon and run a bike cable around the latch for the night until it arrived

ZACHARY ZThe location isn't the issue, it's Uhaul itself. Staff was helpful. It's a general store, not a dedicated Uhaul location. This wasn't the location I selected for pick-up. Then, we had ordered furniture pads and they were not available. So we had to go find furniture pads at a different location. This took time and added stress during our move. Then to top it off, Uhaul changed our drop off location, which meant we had to drive across town (after already driving several hours in holiday traffic) to return the truck.
