We arrived at the site at 8:15 AM, but the hotal was closed. The owner only arrived at 8:30 AM after we called him. Upon arrival, we were assigned a 9' vehicle that was completely buried in snow. After spending 30 minutes warming up the engine, digging the car out, and clearing the snow, we discovered that the fuel cap was missing. This was a critical issue for us, because we need the vehicle for a road test. When we informed the owner, he handed us keys to another vehicle to go and search for a replacement cap. The second vehicle model was without a cup, but it was impossible to move from the snow. When we asked the owner for assistance, he stated that it was "not his job" to help. Since we could not find an alternative rental at such short notice, we were forced to take a 15' vehicle. We faced the exact same situation: the car was buried in snow and required a long time to clean. Furthermore, the vehicle was in poor mechanical condition; for example, the driver's door could barely be closed and it took us a while to manage to open the hood. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant experience.
