The guy at this gas station rental location did not know what he was doing and was trying to sell gas and drinks while doing our rental - interrupting our rental as he kept getting stuck and didn't want other customers to wait! This was completely unacceptable. We were supposed to get a hand truck, and he had one, but he could not figure out how to rent it to us. I had a $50 certificate for our terrible reservation experience, but he did not explain that we were paying in advance, so we did not submit the certificate as it stated to submit it at time of payment. We were conducting business over a soft drink counter about 8" wide. You could not even set the paperwork down to look at it. We need this certificate to be provided as a refund - Certificate number 45EE677C. He also told us to return the truck to a location that is no longer a U-Haul location. 4350 Fruitridge Road in Sacramento. The people there treated us like we were crazy trying to return a U-Haul truck at that location. We went down the road and tried to return at 2961 Fruitridge, but they wouldn't take the truck either. Veronica there was kind enough to call U-Haul for us, and finally directed us to 2839 Broadway in Sacramento, where we were finally able to return the truck. Is U-Haul going out of business? You sure seem like you must be providing absolutely horrible service like this. Bah! Humbug!

I went through the self-service process and showed my screen to a representative as instructed. But it seems that they didn't understand the self-service process and took me about 30mins to get the key. And, the equipment was not clean.

The attendant is juggling uhaul rentals with selling gas and groceries. I don't think this model works well. It took much longer that it should have. Next time I will rent only from the haul store.

i did the pre-registration and there were no other customers and it still took almost 20 minutes! it seemed to be a slow computer issue but it was really awful. I would not recommend this location for this reason. Get a new computer!!!!

Why are trucks not fully gassed up?!? So, I now need to guess at how much gas I put in truck to return it where it was. Did not have all the blankets that I needed.

The clerk first told us that she did not have our reservation. We had to point out to her that she pulled up the wrong date on her computer.

The person working the counter literally could not speak English. They had a very difficult time getting through the checkout process and had to make multiple calls to their boss and send pics of the computer screen to their boss in order to fumble through it. Checkout took over 35 mins. Never going back there again.

The gas station experience was not optimal as I was constantly having to step aside for customers getting gas. The only other complaint was the attendant did not speak very good English so when I had questions, he was not helpful.

The lady attendant was unsure about how to use her own computer software. It was extremely frustrating to try to communicate with her when she didn't even seem to know what her duties were. She didn't know if the truck had been paid for or not and even asked my dad to try to figure out her software on the computer to try to find out information about the reservation. It was a very frustrating experience and I don't want to go to that office again and will opt for any other surrounding office.

I paid for my uhaul ahead of time and checked my reservation for a week and they gave my uhaul to someone else on my last day to move. Got a call from an extremely rude lady that put me on hold and never came back. Ended up going to three different uhauls to get a truck I already paid for. Thanks for making a stressful situation more stressful. I asked for the copy of conversations, I'll see if I get it.

Do not let them rent out uhaul. I don't know that it can be fixed without a lot of training on ur pricing and product and teaching morals. Too busy of a had station for them to be trying to help customers for uhaul too. Horrible experience, stressful and had to pay more than what he quoted

Checking in on line does not work for this dealer. They require you to start from the beginning. Their computers are not up and running so when you go in they have to boot it up and then it may not work. I told the clerk that the gas was not a 3/4 of a tank and he said ok I'll change the paper work. He didn't so I put gas in the truck to where it was and when I received my email reciept they charged me an additional $4.25 more because the computer said I had not filled it. When I called he would not let me speak and was extremely rude. Someone should do a surprise visit to this place. What a dump.

I got a call from the uhaul location where I had scheduled use of a 10' truck. The truck was delayed and I'd have to go to another uhaul location. (My info had been entered into uhaul system when I ordered the truck.) I went to a second location and I had to wait close to an HOUR while the cashier had an old laptop that continually was very slow for each entry needed. An hour standing there waiting. I was on a schedule and getting farther behind. When he showed me the screen I said the address is wrong and he snapped "Well fix it!" I corrected the address for him. I wanted to leave but I needed the truck and I'd already been delayed twice now. The truck itself was fine but I was not happy to pay the total of $184- with such bad service involved.
