Our mobile rental process did not go well. The Uhaul App glitched and deducted the full cost of our truck rental ($2145) but did not unlock the truck. We went thru 4 different customer service reps trying to track the money, including our bank representatives, and lost half a days time. Eventually a uhaul rep was able to help us get the truck released into our possession but only after they decided to reverse the money transaction to us, which then looked as if we took the truck without paying. The president of uhaul called us directly and was able to correct the funds transfer, but in the process we were double charged the full cost which resulted in us having a negative balance in our bank acct. We spent half another morning fixing this with our bank and having them remove the 2nd charge. This left a sour taste in our mouth, and although we will use uhaul again, I don't think we could recommend in full transparency the use of the mobile rental programs.

They guy said he didnt need to see any paperwork just unhook the trailer and go and then I would get an email or text showing it was returned. I never got any of those things from Uhaul but I left the trailer there at 10:15 this morning Saturday 1-31-26. Still have no confirmation that i dropped it off and returned it. How can I find out so I dont get charged anymore for anything? They guy there didnt even look at the trailer get vin number or anything

RANDY KEnsure the back of the truck is cleaned out. It says on the sign that there will be a financial penalty for not cleaning it out. Obviously that was never checked and I filled half a trash bag with garbage from the last people. The problem here is that I’d already turned my garbage cans in and had to move their trash with me and it’s sitting in my garage until I get cans and have a trash pick up
