Unfortunately, the road on my new house isn't paved yet and it rained very hard about an hour before I arrived at the new place. I got the truck stuck and had to call AAA to get it out and I paid for that as AAA doesn't support UHaul trucks, I was a bit surprised to get a $50 dollar charge on my credit card to wash it; especially, after I bought the insurance. My wife had an interesting comment that in this case, it would have been better to crash it than get mud on it. It will certainly make me look elsewhere for any future needs; as well as, tell anyone who needs a truck of my experience. Otherwise, thank you for listening and have a great evening.

I ordered everything online. Paid for it. When I arrived, not only was I forced to stand-there and wait as the only customer in the store for my pick-up for 20 minutes while the service owner idly chatted with a woman, I was forced to RE-PAY for everything, despite me insisting that I had already paid for the service. Now, as expected, my credit card is double booked and I'll be forced to file a dispute with the credit card company (thanks for the extra work). There were other mishaps too, but this is the most important one in my opinion.

Everything was amazing and above standard until I returned the truck. I drove the truck 13 total miles. Filled it with gas, and was still charged over $66 in fuel fees! Very confusing and was not offered an explanation or refund.

I told them that I was cleaning my garage and take stuff to the landfill and they did not tell me that I needed a permit to so when they were in that meeting with my local government mandating permits for Box-trucks dump! U-haul accepted to educate citizen on that requirement!

Make sure that the requested/reserved equipment is available at the needed time. I had to return a 2nd time. they did locate another trailer at another location that was not convenient to me, but chose to have to come back to requested location

The day before we were scheduled to pick up the truck, there was some kind of issue. Jim called us to let us know that we may not be able to have the truck, but based on our need - he stayed late to find our truck then came in an hour early to make sure that it was ready for our trip! We appreciate Jim very much!

This drop off location was closed and there wasn’t ample space if other trucks were dropped off when I did.

I rented a 26' truck and it did fine until I tried to pull into the driveway of our new home in Fancy Gap. The driveway is uphill but NOT real steep. The truck would only climb the hill about 20 feet or less and then the engine revved up and the truck would not move. I tried to get up the driveway in 1st gear and in drive but it would not move any further. It appears the transmission was slipping. I had to drive around to the back of the house which only gave us access to the basement by carrying very heavy items around the house in a driving rainstorm. Another problem with the truck is that you have to keep jiggling and moving the steering wheel sometimes just to get it to start. It has problems that should be fixed before another customer rents it. I told the Lady about these problems at the Mt. Airy drop off location about these problems.

Great customer service with Jim. He made the entire process easy, took his time with me, and appreciated my business. Great job!

The check-out process could be quicker. Also, I had made a reservation, yet had to repeat everything because it couldn't be accessed. That would be a suggestion for uHaul software engineers. A word of praise: we realized that the 17' truck might has issues coming down our driveway and were able to switch to a 15' without any hassle. That was awesome service!
