After confirming a reservation at another U-Haul location (Holcomb Bridge), I was sent another 15 minutes out of my way to this location on Alpharetta St. because they didn’t have my reserved truck. The shopping center was incredibly sketchy. The directions of this location are a bit confusing, but I eventually found the small multi-purpose office that partners with U-Haul. The guy at the counter was very nice, and discounted me due to my reservation not being honored and being sent to him. I appreciated his customer service and understanding. He took me behind the shopping center to the truck and handed me the key. Told me to drop the key in the box if I wasn’t back by 10pm. The truck worked fine, though the passenger door was “open” the whole time as it wouldn’t close all the way. After my trip, I went to the gas station, filled up the van until the pump clicked, and verified the van was full, just as I had received it. The gas station was less than a mile from the UHaul facility. When I returned the truck, the sketchy shopping center was in full effect—someone inebriated on the side of the shopping center, tinted out big SUVs everywhere with a lot of loitering, and people smoking a ton. I dropped off the van in the back of the shopping center and “hauled” myself as fast as I could to my car. The next morning, the manager honored my discount, but ended up charging me $8.50 for 2 gallons of gas despite the fact that I filled it up to full. Just a frustrating and sketchy experience. I feel for the operators as they were kind, quick, and provided great customer service, but the surrounding area was just oddly sketchy. That’s why I rate it 3 stars and wouldn’t recommend.

WILLIAM HLanguage barrier, they didn't know where the truck was, I was told it was behind the building, checked all of the trucks and it was not there, found it in the front parking lot. busy lot with lots of cars, hard to see while backing out. I could easily see others not feeling safe going behind the building if alone
ROBERT MNeeded a van / truck to collect a sofa that we’d bought. I decided to contact U-Haul just down the road and Saul couldn’t have been any nicer. The truck had done 135’000 miles but was still working fine and clean enough. Very quick process getting the keys and I was on my way.. Would I use them again? Yep! Thanks Saul.
