I was supposed to have a 15' truck that was not there. The owner said he called uhaul to let them know that. But somehow I was not notified. I was instead given a 10' truck that did not fit all of the things that I needed to move. What a mess.

Not prompt, and overcharges without reason

This location took out money from my account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! We were told at thelocation where we picked it up that we could drop the truck off at any U-Haul location. It was dropped off at this location at 2:30pm in June 10, 2017. Someone from another location in west county calls me the next morning asking where the truck is. I tell him that it was dropped off at the S. Broadway location. He then informs me that it was promised to someone at their location and it should have been taken there. We were NOT told this. Then a few days later, I check my bank account and notice that someone has withdrawn money from my account WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! And it was done by this location (dependable lawn care). I called and left a message trying to get an explanation for why they did this and I have yet to get a response. What you did was illegal and I will bad mouth this company until I get my money back! And I WILL NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!

Very nice young man who helped me. New and clean truck. Place was a landscape business that also rented trucks. Very long drive from apartment in Creve Coeur.

My order was transferred to a small neighborhood dealer from a larger U-Haul dealer. When I arrived the furniture dolly and blankets that I had originally ordered were not available. One of the staff handed me a business card. He then suggested that if I place any future orders with U-Haul stores in the St. Louis area, I should give them a "heads-up". That way, he said, they would know to have extra equipment on hand. I was irritated by his request, since (1) the furniture dolly and blankets were part of the order when it was transferred to their location and (2) it isn't my job to manage their inventory or coordinate logistics for them. Later, when I had a question about how to use the tow dolly, he suggested that call U-Haul. In my opinion, the dealer should be able to answer any questions about the equipment.

The only person at the facility was not very familiar with U-Haul contracts or equipment. He called for help and a second person person arrived 15 minutes later. Both were smokers and breathing was difficult. Chains were initially attached w/o crossing. I corrected them. Brake chain dragging on inspection after first gas stop and had to be adjusted.

Rented with Uhal many times and this was the only horrible experience I had. These guys are a joke! Ripped me off for $60+ TO MY FACE!! LIES LIES LIES!!! AVOID THIS UHAUL LOCATION!!!
