I reserved the 20'truck with utility dolly 3 weeks before our moving date at 4095Kingston Rd, and last minute they changed it to 20 nugget ave which far from our place, also they changed the truck from 20' to 15'truck and no dolly provided. I called uhaul hotline telling that she removed the fee of the dolly but when I checked out online they still charged me the dolly. Also the uhaul app gave me a hard time uploading pictures, we consumed more than an hour just to check-in the truck.Joemar L.
Online booking was easy. Everything went as planned. I rented a motorcycle trailer. The gentleman hooked it up for me and checked my lights. Good service! Only problem was, I noticed my contact listed a different trailer stock number. I only noticed it because I returned it after hours and was taking pictures. Because the person hooked it up for me, I didn't know any better.Andrew M.

Trailer was all muddy when I picked it up - commented to owner about it, but because I needed it to drive a ride-on-lawnmower, it didn't bother me. When I returned the trailer (half an hour before it was due), the same owner came to look at the trailer, and said everything is fine and I can go - my receipt will be emailed to me shortly. Almost 1 hour later, the receipt came back, the return time was recorded incorrectly, AND I was charged $10 + HST for a CLEANING FEE!!!!! WHAT!?!?!?!? That is absolutely dirty and rotten on the store's part. On top of that, I couldn't call back at that time because the store was closed! Needless to say, I am irate! I spent 45 minutes on the phone (1-800 number) to speak to somebody at U-Haul to let them know that I have been scammed! Reference ID# is 3213270. It is the principal of being scammed that pisses me off! Maybe prevent future customers from getting scammed as well.Petros P.

You should not rent a broken truck. It jeopardizes the life of the customer. 1. While we were renting the truck on May 27, 10am, the oil change light was flashing on instrument cluster. Even though more oil was added, once we started the truck, the oil change light turned on again. When we went back and requested a truck change, we were rejected of our appeal and only received more oil inside the truck. That truck was not at a rentable state. 2. At 2:15, when we started the truck after loading, in merely 15 minutes, the truck was stopped because the engine was smoking. We were on the highway express. We felt our life jeopardized.Hak J.

I was overcharged we returned the pickup truck with 14 litres of gas which was the amount used: surprise charge of almost $35. I went back to the person and he was very rude he stated these charges are from the company. Secondly someone was smoking in the truck, carpets had stains.Sabir K.
Break sensor buzzer was broken and keep turning on intermittently for the duration of the rental. Reported the issue to the uhaul representative at pickup and he stated â€œit would stop sounding the alert when I started driving â€œ. This was not the case and caused a very unpleasant experience. Uhaul location settings also did not work when using the mobile return service. Changed my settings according to instructions with no result. Tried calling a uhaul representative but after 25 minutes on hold I gave up.Wesley L.
I went to a location which is 20 Nugget Ave and at my schedule pickup time which and the person at the location mentioned that he did not have a pick up truck which I booked two days ago. He offered me a van instead or suggest me to go to another location to pick up the truck. It was very inconvenient for me as I had some time factor worked to be done. This person even changed my original reservation cancelled with out my consent and made the new reservation for 1555 warden avenue location. This is totally unaccepted and will suggest all of you not to visit 20 Nugget avenue location.Mir H.
Very Poor service from the location due to following reasons 1) The lights of the trailer were all broken and therefore no light was working and when discuss the problem with owner of location he rudely said leave the trailer and leave the location but their was no other option available. 2) The back door/shutter was not working properly and very hard to open and close. The service was not upto the standard of U-Haul at all and this location is not helping the cause of U-haul. Thanksabdul C.
