I believe that if you pay for a one way U-Haul trailer and get charged for 5 days then if you return it early then you should get a refund for the days unused.

Failed to give me the requested truck size with nearly 2 months prior notice of needing the truck. Failed to actually know what was happening at the pick up location and couldn't do online check-in as requested.

CLAYTON VMaybe just technical difficulties, but wow. Was 15 minutes early for pick up so I did the check in online to save time. Went inside store, and it took 45 minutes! Cashier asked all the same questions I already answered online, gave me a total of double what I reserved for online, had ME call the uhaul corporate to override the price- BUT corporate had the same price as me. Cashier had filled out her end of the paperwork wrong so she had to fix it on her end for me to get my quoted price. She asked what card to pay with, and was on file but she had to input it anyway. Said she was going to print up my papers to sign, but came back 5ish minutes later to input my card again. FIVE TIMES before she got it right. Disappeared into the office for 15 minutes, with the door shut, until someone else came out and said they would email me the papers without signing. I had to pay my employees for the time I spent waiting when I had already checked in online, cost me an extra $100. I think that if a cashier is working alone, and is not trained properly to check in uhaul customers, then they shouldn't. This was the worst uhaul experience I've ever had, and I normally use this location about 30 times during the summer months each year. Will probably go to Taylor's Saddle Shop from now on. Can't afford to lose 4 times the amount of renting the trailer on wages paid to my employees for wait time. Normally don't have any issues with the guys who work there, just the cashier I have issues every time.
