The facility was a small shack on the side of a road in which was 45 minutes away from the location I asked for. U-Haul, the day before, dropped this in my lap and to top it all off the facility was closed when I got there!! Luckily the proprietor answered his phone, but told me I needed to get in touch with U-Haul because he was closed. He tried to explain there was a 24 hour facility, which U-Haul did not tell me prior to me showing up and finding it closed. So to find yourself 45 minutes from where you wanted to be, in the middle of nowhere, on the side of a road at a shack that was closed and having no idea what to do is very unacceptable. Now this is nothing to the person that was running this particular facility, because it wasn't necessarily his fault. I called U-Haul and they had me upload their app to fill out everything I basically did prior so it would be a fast in and out because I had a schedule to keep. You have to take a picture of yourself, then a picture of your drivers license (front and back, but make sure it's clear or you have to do this all over again!) then pictures of the truck all around, although one side was blocked by another truck. It's was crazy! U-Haul used me to travel to get the truck on my time and travel back on my time. I felt U-Haul took advantage of me at every corner.
