Poor customer service and took over a week to have return processed. Van left with 1/8 tank. I filled it up and left it with a 1/4 tank, which was better than I got it! Due to only one clerk knowing how to process a Uhaul I had to wait around for about 15 mins in order for me to be taken care of. Returned van same day. Had issues with app on self return, informed clerk working at time, was told he did not know how to do returns. I left keys with him, called Uhaul once I got home, was told someone would call me next day. Nope, got an email a week later asking why I had not returned truck explained situation again. Following day, return processed. I used to run several hardware stores out west that I brought Uhaul in, so I know the process and this location did not bother to check to see if I was a red bar or not to clear this up. Training needs to be done by the AFM so not just one employee is responsible.

The personal came out screaming that it his property and park the truck to the other side of the gas station.
Renata MThe person at the counter was not communicating very well he was just basically wanted me to wait until he was done doing whatever without explaining everything. He had other customers, but I needed to be out of the house so I needed the truck to be released to me, when I told him I was in a rush he got upset, and then he started racing his voice at me because I paid through my phone and he wanted me to pay with his phone. He said that there was a conflict and got super upset because I told him that he pointed on my phone, he then said that I didn’t listen and on top of that I didn’t let him get that customer in front of me. After that, he just threw the keys at me on the counter and that told me here’s your truck you can leave now. In all the confusion he didn’t even confirm that it was a local drive because I thought that I rented the truck to drop it off in Jacksonville. My husband just got released from the army and I had to move, I’m a veteran myself and now I am $400 short because the person at the counter wasn’t confirming anything with me and in the confusion I had about everything I had to do to move. I had to deal with his attitude and now I am $450 short. There is nothing worse than something like this happening with the stress of a PCS and a divorce.
