This rental messed my whole experience renting U-Haul truck. This was my worse and horrific nightmare experience with U-Haul. I booked the U-Haul to pick from Front Street Uniondale New York, I spoke with a lady letting them know that I would be arriving very late after 8pm because I am traveling from Boston to New York with a rented car and I wanted to pack my stuff from the storage. The representative said she would call me with her phone number after 6pm but she didn’t call my phone as I do not have any call log from her. On 3rd of October, I called again by 5:55pm and I was also informed that someone will call me after 6pm to give me the key code to pick up the U-haul after hours. I was very confused and concerned because I was driving for almost 5 to 6hrs. Until I arrive NYC Uniondale, there was no call, no code and I had to book a hotel and extended my car rental. This was a nightmare.
