The person at the dealer location (Zpex Express Shipping Centre in Vancouver, BC) made multiple errors: 1) charged a wrong card (used for authorization) while being specifically instructed to use the same card the booking was made with, and 2) charged coverage which was denied with the booking. After unsuccessful texting attempts to make corrections, I had to go back to the dealer location. I asked the lady I rented the truck from to correct the errors, but she refused and kept saying "they are just a dealer", and that I have to call U-Haul myself. After I insisted that she does her job and not put me in the middle, she threatened to call 911, while she was the one who kept yelling and made me feel threatened. I do have the conversation recorded from the point where the situation escalated, if anyone is interested to listen to it. Even after calling U-Haul, the person on the phone told me that the payment cannot be reversed. It took several calls and very frustrating half an hour for that person to agree to reverse the charge (so it wasn't impossible after all). I would never use U-Haul again and will for sure post and tell everyone about my experience.
