The store is in a strip mall. The store was not open when we arrived at 4:45, despite having hours until 5. Most other stores I’ve seen have very clear signs so you know where to go for UHAUL. Once I found the store, it was easy to find the lock boxes. Before you ever get the key out you have to confirm you see the truck… not so easy when the trucks and trailers are kept behind the building at the far end. Thats a 5-10 minute walk to confirm, then walk all the way back to get the key, just to walk back to get the trailer. Also, there were no pads or dolly. The vehicle was not particularly clean, the back had not been swept out and there was dog fur in the cab. I got a truck and it did the thing, but this company doesn’t appear to care about their UHaul side hustle.

Location was not open at 10am, delaying pickup by 20 mins. Vehicle was not pulled up, retrieval involved walking back out the front door, around to the back of the building, and all the way through the back alley to the end of the far fence, about 250-300 yards. The vehicle did not drive very well, transmission has a hard time shifting through gears to accelerate. Thankfully, I only needed this truck for 29 miles.

Franklin CHow can I give an honest answer to “was the equipment well maintained” I’m not 100% sure but how do they maintain the equipment at a medical supply store? I didn’t see any service repair area.
KEVEN KWhen we went to pick-up our reservation. The employee had no clue about our reservation or that there even was one nor how to operate the equipment nor how to work through the process of checking it out. He had to call someone several times to let me go with the truck and auto transport. The employee had no idea how much fuel was in the truck either.
