Why was I charged $389 when I was quoted $272 for driving way out of my way to Plano to drop off the UHAUL? What I planed as sub $400 move turned into $500 after tax? I need answers. UHAUL was DISGUSTING. Animal hair, cracked mirror. Waited 45 minutes to even get it because systems were down and was asked for a photo of my ID and CC? No thank you. Lastly, got home and took the ramp out to find glass EVERYWHERE. Just thankful I had shoes annd my kids weren’t outside when I took the ramp down. Overall, the worst experience with a UHAUL pickup so far. P.S. I want to know why I lost the discounted rate for driving all the way to Plano to drop off the UHAUL.

There was no person that I could talk to at the return location even though there was a sign that said we will meet you outside during business hours. If I didn't complete the return process the system should have sent me a text or notified me somehow. The keys and uhaul was returned at 10 am on Friday morning. I had the uhaul for 2.5 hours and I was charged for an extra day. I even noticed it was still active at 5 am Saturday morning and chatted with customer service and was told I would not be charged an extra day for the uhaul since I returned it way before the time frame.
NATALIE TOriginally I was asked to pickup in a different location and that I'd be given a 20' truck at the same price as the 15' I had originally reserved along with 50 extra miles and an extra day of rental for no charge. The person I talked to was very nice. The location was desolate, no one was on site. The truck was dirty, windshield wipers were in need of replacement, truck was 1/2 full of gas.

Jill RThe location was "off the beaten path", an alley far from the road. I spoke with someone to tell them I would be dropping off on Saturday (the same day I rented), so they were aware Of the early return. Had to leave the truck parked in the alley for afterhours drop off. It was a 24 hour rental but I dropped off the same day I rented. I was charged a cleaning fee and an extra day rental. A reimbursement is pending after I contacted customer service. The fact that I was charged for an extra day is deeply concerning. The facilitators of the drop off location are trying to pull a fast one on customers by charging and hoping it will go unnoticed. It was in my opinion an attempt to steal from me. Uhaul has a monopoly on the rental truck industry. I would expect better oversite over your vendors, but I guess if the money is flowing in why bother
