Make sure the truck that was requested is actually on site. Previous renter did not return the truck and we had to use a smaller truck. This was very frustrating and messed up the plan we had for the day moving. The U-Haul location was aware of this and tried to call the person to return the truck. They did not get a response.

Clean the vehicles. The employee was willing to answer questions for us, but the general atmosphere is unwelcoming and sketchy. My reservation was messed up & when it was redone, it ended up costing me double what the internet confirmation stated.

i do not know why i bothered using the reservation process.. i reserved a 17' truck for sat morning at 29.95 a day, when i got there 30 minutes before the reservation time, i was told the 17' truck was in the shop, the only option was to rent a 15' for 39.95, when i asked why i would pay more for a smaller truck, the guy responded, it is what it is, take it or leave it. as i was in need of the truck at that time, and had made arrangements for help on moving what i needed to move, i had no choice but to take it. the truck he put me in had not been cleaned out in the back, the contract showed it was full of gas, but was not, when i returned it, the lady there would not listen to me and basically told me you signed for it, it was a bigger truck, he was confused on the size, you pay the 39.95, etc. etc., and she did not believe me when i told her the price of the reservation, and when i brought it up on my phone, and showed her, her only response was that i would have to take it up with "big uhual". nothing but excuse after excuse. be very careful with this one, i will never return, nor will i trust the reservation setup with uhual again, for why bother reserving, then be extorted into paying more?

I went there to pick the truck up, I had reserved the truck 2 weeks prior. The truck wasn't there. It would have been nice if they would have called to let me know I needed to go somewhere else and not show up at 8am to only have to go somewhere else. I didn't get the other truck until later, it put everything behind. Had a bunch of people at my house waiting. I don't think I should of had to pay the extra miles between the two places either. It was just disappointing and I won't be using them again.

We reserved a truck 3 weeks ago at 10am for our move. When we arrived to pick up the truck it was there but the previous customer did not have money to pay for gas to refill it. We had to sit and wait on the truck for close to an hour until the customer had someone bring him money. I do not feel that we should have been inconvenienced by the actions of the previous customer. This is not a good way to handle that situation in my opinion.

I have never had such a bad experience with Uhaul before. They didn't give me the paper that showed how much gas etc. I also ordered a dolly and it was not given to me, I thought it was in the truck already and it was not, I had to drive back and pick it up and put it in my car to avoid using more miles on the truck. There was a lot more, including rudeness.

The trim above the drivers side rear wheelwell was broken and sticking out. I was told, and the check out document stated that the truck had a full tank when it was actually between 3/4 and full. I returned it on full anyway. The return took over half an hour and I was the only customer.

Had to go to Waterloo because after the Canton, OH site told me they had a trailer. it took 20 min. to tell me that they didn't. The problem with Waterloo was that the software made her enter my info several times.

Went to first location and was sent to another location because they had the trailer I needed, filled out paperwork and went out to get the trailer and it was not the trailer I needed and was told that they don't even carry the open 6x12 trailer with a ramp after traveling there just to get that specific trailer. Got trailer home and Trailer was dirty and had nails all through the floor, was told that I was able to bring the trailer back before 10:30pm the next day and when I brought it back at 9:30pm I was told that I had to pay for another day, if I would of known it had to be back within 24 hours I could have got it back.
