I just need to know why they keep my coverage money I understand they keep it if something happened to the truck but when i rent a truck for Less than 2 hours and bring it back I paid 69.23 $ everything was good no damage not dirty why u guys keep the coverage Money then the money I paid for the truck was more than I paid for the stuff I need to move it .

Took 300+ dollars out of our account, overcharged me for a day after I was told to bring back the truck by 2:45 PM. I will never use Uhaul again and plan on disputing these charges at my bank. We use this Uhaul very frequently and never had a problem until today.

Update your computer system before you start renting uhaul that way peoples reservation is actually in the system and when I bring it back, don't say I didn't rent it. This place is horrible. I will NEVER be coming back, and I will NOT be recommending this place to anyone. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Even though we pre registered to save time your computer system did not work. When we got to site it showed registration but would not accept as final. Wasted over an hour and ended up having to manually do whole registration over.

The truck had no power steering and was winding really loudly, there was mud all over the the cabin of the truck as well as inside the back of the truck. There were ashes in the cup holders. This was a very bad u-haul experience. Luckily all my furniture was in boxes or it would have gotten really dirty. When I complained to the clerk she apologized but was very nonchalant and said she had said something to the manager before but the manager told her it was u-haul’s equipment so there was nothing they could do about it.

Had a headlight out and the dome light in the back was not working properly. The truck we reserved was not there and we reserved an appliance dolly along with the truck and it was not at the He location of our rental. Our overall experience was terrible.

I arrived to the location to pick up my uhaul at 945a for a 10a reservation. I did not depart from the rental facility until after 11a. I was informed that the uhaul "system was down" and that they would try again in a few minutes. After MULTIPLE attempts, 2 phone calls, 45 minutes later, I called Uhaul customer service myself. After 15 minutes of being on hold, I was told just to take the uhaul and record the mileage and that we would take care of everything upon my return. (my original suggestion, which was denied) My return time that would not be extended, even though this error had cut into the reserved rental time. So after the inconvenience of waiting over an hour to pick up my rental, then being told my time would not be extended, and having a group of people sit and wait for the truck, I don't think I or anyone involved in assisting our move will use uhaul in the future. I understand, these things happen, but there has to be better process for when the system is down. Renting equipment is expensive, but my time and the time of the people assisting me is also valuable. I felt bad for the girl working, I know it wasn't her fault, she had no idea what to do, I don't know where the disconnect was between her and the uhaul representative she spoke with. However, telling someone to wait 10 minutes and Ill try again, is unacceptable. After 20 minutes of waiting, I suggested just recording the mileage and letting me leave and taking care of it after, told no, only to be told to do exactly that 45 minutes later. Very frustrating.

The truck was filthy. The heat did not work properly. There was a partially eaten candy bar on the floor that I stepped on. The truck bed was covered in dirt and rubber bands. The inside of the window was very dirty and hard to see through. The gas mileage was absolutely horrible. I have rented U-Haul trucks before and driven this same route. My gas expense to bring it back up to the level it started at was three times higher this time than last time even though the distance was roughly the same (and the previous truck was bigger!). The manager was friendly and helpful but the overall experience was negative. I will probably choose a different truck rental service next time.

Make sure the truck that was requested is actually on site. Previous renter did not return the truck and we had to use a smaller truck. This was very frustrating and messed up the plan we had for the day moving. The U-Haul location was aware of this and tried to call the person to return the truck. They did not get a response.
