Deanna CWhat l recommend is to practice ethical business and not steal money from your customers. When you quote a customer $88 then proceed to charge $100 that was unethical. When you tell me l then have to pay a $100 deposit because l used a debit card then fail to document that $100 that is theft. Then when you attempt to charge my card for another $151 on a 2 day rental that should have cost no more than $151 total instead of issuing $49 on the extra deposit you asked of me, that was straight up theft. And as if these thefts weren’t bad enough, J&R Tire claimed that l didn’t return the truck. I guess that was their cleaver little scam to try and bill me for more money. That truck was delivered back to them at 2am on April 2nd and the key was put safely into their U-Haul key drop box at that time. If the truck was not in their possession they would not have tried to bill the account at 8:17am. They then at 11:26 am attempted to bill my card for $93.27. If U-Haul is the reputable company l always knew them to be they will cancel the contract they have with J&R Tire and issue me my refund of $49 that l gave in good faith. I rented from this same location from the same young man in August of last year without any issues which is why l chose to use the same location. Now l see clearly that J&R Tire cannot be trusted to do business with and l have been making that known to all the people l speak with in the area. I am truly disgusted by having to even deal with this matter.
Edward EI was very disappointed. The vehicle was not cleaned, not well maintained. It wandered all over the road and the tire maintenance light kept coming on and would stay on. The tank was empty when it was picked up. Being a disabled person. It was very hard to get in and out of the vehicle. And I had no help whatsoever from the staff. The hours of business were misrepresented. I was told that the business would be open for my return. It wasn't. Had to spend 3/4 of an hour on the phone with customer service. Trying to get checked back in so that I could release this thing to back to the company that I rent it from.
