Our original pick up location was supposed to be at 126 Seaview Dr. North Sydney. We were informed the night before while travelling on the ferry from NFLD that the truck would not be available for pickup the next day. They had given it to someone else and we would have to wait 3 days for it. We were one of the couples stranded due to the Air Canada strikes in NFLD. We were told to read the disclaimer and that your vehicle pick up date can be changed. What is the point of booking a date and time in the first place if it can be changed at their discretion??? Now we would be stranded in North Sydney. After a lengthy discussion I was told that I could get another truck in Antigonish. That was a 3 hour taxi drive from North Sydney costing us $400.00. on top of everything else. The gentleman from Antigonish could not do enough for us!!! He gave us more information on U Haul rentals then anyone else has since the 20 years that we have been renting from U Haul. I would highly recommend this location to everyone.
