The 6x12 trailer I rented was not where I reserved it, and when I went to pick it up at the new place I was told that it was inspected and ready to go, i went to hook it up and it had significant damage to one corner and the floor was ripped opened in the same corner, I asked that it be recorded on the rental agreement and she refused, but she did put a X sticker on it and said that’s all we do, it fell off before I was able to load the trailer, call customer service at U-Haul and they said they would take care of it. Thanks customer service

Uhaul needs some improvements on communications. Our pads were not in the truck had to go back to pick up blankets. Location given to drop off truck was permanently closed. So we had to drop off the truck at another location. Very frustrating. Truck ran excellent.

The manager could not get my credit card to go thru, it turned out there was an alert on me. When I called the woman I spoke with said she didn't know why there was an alert on me and took it off. I asked her who put it on there, she said there was no information. I don't believe that. I am fairly certain it was the the dealer at 9930 East Broadway in mesa, AZ. I was to rent from him in October of 2017 and he was not there when I arrived and he didn't come back for 2 hours. When I came back fortunately I had a friend with me because he came from behind the counter and threatened me. The dealer I rented from last weekend told me they have gotten a lot of business because he has done the same thing to other customers. My question is WHY is U-haul still allowing him to rent??? I plan to write to the CEO of U-haul because if he is allowed to continue to rent I will rethink ever using U-haul again. Again, not this dealer I rented from this past weekend but the one on Broadway in Mesa, AZ.

Uhaul gave the truck I was supposed to get to someone else. There was no gas in the truck. Had to wait for them to fill it due to uhauls 3rd party vendor not filling it. Upon check in I got charged for more miles than the trip meter said I put on it. So disappointed this time. I may not rent from Uhaul again and won't be recommending you to anyone I know. It's a shame it's so poorly run. Phone app was useless too.

Tell the people running this location they need to be more involved. They did not do a walk around they did not bother to help me hook up the transport trailer they did not do anything except take the money and more or less ignore us.

The location is not well marked so I had difficulty locating it since the sun had just set. I was also charged for another days rental because I didn’t return it during store hours. I didn’t even have the truck a full 24 hours and I had to pay for extra days. The Uhaul website even states that you have the convenience of being able to return at your own time. When I located the place I found a lot out back that had a lot of trucks so it’s not like they needed my truck.

To wait until contract is finished to inform a 77 year old woman that there would be no one there to help unhitch the trailer upon return because the facility is closed on Sunday is LOUSY customer relations. The man who did hook me to a trailer was so busy on a cell phone that his backing instructions were small, surly hand gestures. If this is acceptable to your home office, so be it.

This was not the first location I used this day. The first was horrible and I filed a complaint. This location was much nicer BUT the person who did the contract told me I had to have the trailer back by 1:40pm on Sunday or would be charged another day. Interesting since I was told by the main Uhaul number I could return the trail on Sunday evening with no additional charge. What is even more interesting is that this location is "Closed" on Sunday and their Uhaul lot is open not locked. I did return the trailer on Sunday evening but how would anyone know I did or what time?????

The only issue we had was we scheduled a self check out at 6:30 am at this location. Upon arrival, we encountered a check out problem and had to wait till 8am. We were told by the location operator that they DO NOT have self check out, so your on line information is INCORRECT!!! We live in Arizona and the temperatures reached over 114 degrees on this particular day. We did not arrive to our storage until 8:30 AM. It took 2 hours to load the truck and another 2 hours to drive to our location. The heat was overwhelming. That is why we needed the early a.m. pick up. VERY DISAPPOINTED. We do not blame the nice folks that run the location here in Mesa. They were extremely nice.

I was supposed to take the truck from Anthem AZ, received a call around 10 AM confirming that everything is okay for my reservation. Around 5 PM I received a call from very unprofessional store manager saying that my reservation for Friday was pushed to Saturday tried to explain that I already hired moving company, she was SO rude saying there's nothing I can do and when I start getting upset she just hang up when I called customer service number they told me the only option is to go pick up the truck from apache junction which is 65 miles away from the location I chosen and the Auto transport was 20 miles away from my location, Any way I Would never recommend Uhaul to any one, and it was the worst customer service experience I had in my life, Penske is way better and so professional. Lastly, I did put couple complaints but not one bothered to call or email me back, don't ever rent from this Company
