Clerk charged me for two days rental, two days insurance for a one day rental. When I questioned the bill being so high beyond quoted estimate, she told me she didn’t know, she could not fix it, and I needed to call U-haul for any help. (She no help) The truck had issues, constant alarm beeping as if I left something like the lights on. When I called the same clerk about the issue, she told me she was aware of it and everything would be fine. I was not told upfront of this issue, and of course it was concerning throughout the entire rental “experience”. The radio didn’t work, wiper blades were bad, (sucks when raining), driver side door didn’t close properly causing excess road/wind noise. The back of truck was not swept out from previous rental. I spent a lot of time sweeping out all the mess from previous renter as not to be blamed or charged for lack of cleaning. The only high point of this rental was dealing with Mark at U-haul customer service. He was able to easily refund me the $48 overage, was very professional, kind, and had patience. If it was not for Mark at customer service I would have totally written off U-haul as a “never again”. This particular self storage place did not have a restroom available due to “handle on toilet” being broken per clerk who couldn’t fix bill, or toilet… Overall I would rent from U-Haul again thanks to the effort put out by Mark in customer service, but would not choose an affiliate to do so. I would choose a U-Haul direct rental place, who takes pride in customer service…

ROBERT LU-Haul corporate is weak at best poor management!!!! This location that I rented from was great the lady that checked me in and out was great and very polite!!!!
