I have used U-Haul many times over the decades. This was the WORST experience I have ever had. It is obvious that this location does NOT keep track of their scheduling. Having been rerouted to this location twice, two weekends in a row and both times appropriate staffing was not on site and the doors where locked. The older woman who appears to live on the multi-purpose property, is not a U-Haul representative and has no knowledge of the system. I initially had empathy and understanding. That began to end when the initial pickup required is to travel to another location to pickup a car hauler, they were completely aware of our pending arrival and the equipment was ready. Then to experience the same unprepared situation at this location a week later, all empathy and understanding was replaced by the knowledge that this location IS NOT QUALIFIED to represent U-Haul.

Highly suggest going to a different location. This location makes me not want to ever use them again. Experience from the get go was terrible. Scheduled a in person pick up and the location changed it to mobile pickup and did not notify me whatsoever. I got there at 8:00 am per scheduled pickup time (which was when they opened, per business hours posted) and they had a sign on door come back at 9:00 am.so i go back at 9:00 am and waited until 9:20am and they never opened. Called the number posted on the door, and went to voicemail saying they had restricted calling.I had my rental for a 20 foot truck, utility dolly, and an appliance dolly. I then called U-Haul customer service and they got me squared away and told me that it was changed to a mobile pickup. I then finally get the key to the truck rental via them having the key to it in the mobile pickup box. Get home with the truck and there was no dolly's in it. I called U-Haul customer service back and the got ahold of crossroads location and they were going to put the utility and appliance dolly’s outside for us. So we go back to get the dolly’s and they only had the utility dolly sitting outside. I then called U-Haul customer service back because there was no appliance dolly sitting outside, they got back in touch with crossroads. Then it was crossroads did not have any appliance dolly’s. When i dropped the rental back off there still was nobody in store, and still had come back at 9:00am posted on the door.
Dennis PDropped off and informed him that I might be back to rent trailer that was there. Yes this been mess up was my fault. But he gave me a card before I departed. I was in such a hurry to get my son back to where he lives I forgot to fuel truck. I called back three times to see if there was anyway I could remedy my mistake. Funny I got a call right after my email receipt came through. Eas o informed by the lady that called me she was out of town. Apparently U Haul is a side business for these people and you/they aren't concerned about the honest businesses you hopefully have out there.
