I was billed over 3 times the amount of my rental agreement. Charged 79.00 per day for a 19.95 a day vehicle for local use. Drove 62 miles and charged me for over 500 miles. Not sure why so many descrepancies. No one has gotten back to me yet.

Unfortunately we were sent to the Leroy Alabama location due to a failure on UHAUL's part. I had reserved the truck to be picked up in Thomasville AL. the day before going to pick up the truck, coming 500 miles away from Beaufort SC, they call and tell us sorry, we don't have the truck you reserved a week in advance you have to take a smaller truck. When I called to argue that I reserved in ample time to insure that I got the size truck I needed they assured me that as long as I go 30 miles out of my way I can get the size truck I needed for a new more expensive cost. After arguing with the manager I was told I would get a $50 credit (DID NOT RECIEVE TO DATE) and 80 miles reimbursed (ALSO HAVE NOT RECIEVED NOTIFICATION OF). I do not and will not ever recommend 1800-UHAUL to reserve a truck to rent. They gave us nothing but trouble. Stacey Daugherty at the Leroy location was the only helpful person we spoke to the entire time, and she went above and beyond to try and fix the troubles that 1800-UHAUL caused. She is a fantastic Uhaul representative and the only reason we didn't go to another truck rental company after the nonsense that was pulled. Keep in mind that I say try because I will be calling shortly to dispute additional charges that I did not agree to when I prepaid for the truck to the sum of over $500. Charging me an extra $130 for 'extra days' that I did not take, and they have re recorded time of truck return incorrect which charged an extra day. I will not be returning to Uhaul if this is how they treat their paying customers.

I need a manager to contact me immediately in regards to a dispute on my uhaul charges. I have already called customer service and was asked what a good time would be for them to contact me. I advised after 4pm. Tyeb I was informed that I may or may not receive a refund I. The next 3 days but should t rely on a manager calling me back because, “uhaul managers do not do their jobs. Most people have to call back because uhaul managers do not do their jobs.” This is a quote from your customer service line. Her name was Tiana and that is the only information she would give. I paid for the rental in cash. My contract stated I was due a refund of 60$$ upon drop off. I was told that they didn't deal in cash. So now I have to wait for my refund to come in check form. A week supposedly... I foresee several phone calls in my near future to try and get my refund.

Haul had spider webs in several years places on the inside and the passenger side breaklight and blinker where out. Along with another external light on the driver side. Otherwise great customer service.

I had stopped renting cargo vans from U-haul because the vans were ancient, high mileage and in poor condition. However, the new Ford Teansit vans are modern, comfortable and free of rattles and shaking. The van I rented had only 760 miles on the odometer. Hopefully U-haul will maintain them and replace before they attain ancient status.

The agent arrived late making our plans to be changed. The other reason for giving it an Average rating was because once you sign the agreement they tell you to cross the road and get the trailer on your own. The trailer was parked in a manner that it required 2 persons to install the trailer onto the hitch. Other than that once we loaded up the trailer the rest was fine. Hope the next time it will go smoother.

The exit to the road from the storage lot was a bit dangerous and hard to see on coming traffic. I would recommend cutting back the brunch atleast.
