The website did NOT allow me to extend the time we rented the trailer. I had to call in and that took a few people to get me to the right department. A "drop-off" date should be available on your website when you reserve. Also, your website had major delays at the pick up office and we had to start the process all over again - twice.

New location in Belhaven NC and owner was out that day so part time person helped us. She was very nice, did all she could, and was very apologetic. I hate to give a low rating, but until they get some experience.........I do not blame the location for our experience, but blame U-Haul. To start, we reserved a 20' truck and 2 dozen moving pads. A couple days before I was called saying they could not get a 20' truck at that location and we could pick up in Aurora, NC only 20 miles away and would give me 40 "free" miles to compensate.. Aurora is 58 minutes away across the river by Ferry, assuming you don't have to wait to board and if the Ferry even takes trucks. If not, 56 miles to get there in my vehicle, then 56 miles back with my vehicle and U-Haul truck. So they offered us a 26' truck for same price from original location. Not needed, but said okay to stay at original pickup location. When we got there, I had to remove the tow dolley from the truck and wheel over to where it needed to be. Then furniture blankets were not there and much needed to protect our items. Fortuneately we were able to use our own blankets and towels and cut up cardboard boxes as needed to protect on 162.8 mile drive. U-Haul credited the blankets and gave us a $50.00 credit for the problems. Probably will not use U-haul again after this event. On a good note, truck was clean and easy to drive. On a bad not, gas mileage was awful. We put in 18.72 gallons and drove 162.8 miles = 8.79 MPG
