I arrived at 1pm Monday afternoon and I could not turn into the driveway to return the trailer I rented. I understand that Monday morning is probably busy with all of the overnight drop offs of equipment. It was 1pm and there were 7 trucks parked in the way, three of which were inches away from being in the street. I had my three year old daughter in the car and I had to park in the lot furthest from the building, when the girl came over to give me my receipt she was riding a bike. If someone wanted to get to their storage unit in the back it would have been near impossible.

Showed up at 6am to do self pickup an no equipment was assigned to my reservation. Spent 45 minutes talking to 3 people on the phone from Uhaul and had to wait until 7 to get my truck. Self pick up did not work at all.

The trailer was not connected correctly and when the vehicle was loaded on the trailer the tongue came off the ball and hit the rear of the the tow vehicle causing damage to the vehicle.

I reserved a dolly and wasn't given one on the truck. In trying to contact the location again, I was told the manager would call back shortly to sort it out and I was never contacted. The next day, I was charged for missing equipment and had to deal with sorting out that situation. It was a very frustrating experience for a short term rental.

Improve the flow of check ins and outs with the space available in the parking lot areas. It is poorly designed. There were people in storage units blocking the exits, and there was no place to go to turn vehicles around. Have another customer service representative available for check ins on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm sorry but the Manager was useless but the Young lady that took care of me was really great there were people there waiting to be waited on and all the Manager did was say she'll take care of you in just a few minutes what was wrong with him doing some work ? The young lady did it all ran around checking people in and out while her boss did nothing bad customer service on his part he needs retraining or a different job no customer satisfaction skills at all !!!

It was my first time to lease a u haul and I had several questions for clarification when I first visited the location on. The staff at this location need to be more friendly, patient, and compassionate especially when dealing with new customers. the staff who served me on 05/28 were excellent. The big challenge that I faced was that I reserved size 17 truck but when I went to pick it up I was told that only size 20 was available. I took size 20 but this made me use more money to fill the gas tank than I had budgeted for. the good part is that the truck I took was relatively new and did not cause problems along the long trip. thank you and I wish you well as you resolve these issues to make your customers happy.

The right vehicle was available to us on a very short notice. The only "hiccup" my husband who was picking it up experienced was waiting in line to get it, longer than we wished. Other than that it was great! Will use the same location again for sure.

After an extensive problem with a replacement key, and multiple calls to customer service, the general manager at this location was difficult to work with upon returning the truck. However, the customer service reps on the phone during the day-long hassle with the key were extremely friendly and patient. In the end, however, after 12 hours and multiple phone calls, we finally ended up finding the solution to our problem via a YouTube tutorial video (reprogramming a transponder key) - not from the hours of instruction read to us over the phone by the customer service reps. It was also frustrating not to be able to contact our local store directly (I was communicating with someone in AZ).

Only one employee in the entire place on a Saturday morning. Has to be your busiest day of the week, and was severely understaffed. Was there a total of 45 minutes to get my rental trailer. It took at least 30 of that go get waited on while two others were being helped. Should have at least one person at the counter and one outside "positioning" trucks and trailers. Return wasn't much better. Waited 15 minutes for someone to check the trailer so I could leave.

Just backing out onto M-139 is kind of dicey. Someone was there from U-Haul to ensure it was safe - but seems to be a better setup for leaving could be done - or too many vehicles there.

The layout of the location makes it somewhat difficult to see where the entrance is. Some better signage would help. Also, it would be great for UHaul to create an e-checkout system for returns like the rental car companies have. I waited for 20 minutes when I dropped off my cargo van without the woman working the desk even acknowledging me, as she was with another customer and 100% consumed in that. I finally asked if there was an e-checkout and she said I could leave the key and contract and she would check me out and send the receipt. But I had to call the next day to get the receipt sent to me. In a world accustomed to self-service when employees are overtaxed, it seems UHaul could implement this. The initial pickup of the van went smoothly, and the van was brand new and fantastic.

When we dropped off the U-Haul on Waverley Road in Lansing Michigan very crippled with me about how much gas was left in the tank and set unless I went and got another 8 gallons worth of gas they would charge me $70. I have never had an experience like that and I've used u haul many times .... I may be an ex customer

Due to the short staff facility had to wait over 30 minutes in line to pick up and return. When I received the vehicle there was empty Mikes hard lemonade bottles in the passenger door

First, there are crater potholes in the entry to the property. Inexcusable! This location was understaffed the day I picked, and more so the day I returned. I had to unhook the trailer myself. The internet was down and the only customer service rep on site did not know what to do. Not a reflection on her. There was not a manager to be found on either day. The worst uhaul facility I have ever been to, and definitely will not return!

The truck had 111,000 miles on it and it drove like it did. It drifted. It was dirty and dusty inside and I had to clean the dash and steering wheel. It reeked of cigarette smoke. Lastly, the wiper blades were terrible. This facility and the people that took care of me were awesome! Really nice and professional. I wish the truck was better. It will be Budget or Penske for me next time.
