online should cover actual inventory at each location. made reservations for trailer pick up in Billingham mass, but trailer not there. online showed it was. Had to pick up @ local dealer and tow both ways. If available in mass would only have to tow one way.

Once I talked to someone service was good. I phoned b4 going on line and calling 800 # to reserve a Van. When I phoned the store itself - I was put on hold for over 25 minutes. People were very nice when I went to pick it up.

Carefully review online reservations to ensure any additional equipment reserver requests is available at the time of arrival. The hand-truck I requested during reserving the truck was not in the truck, and employee claimed there was no request made. Which made moving extremely difficult.

i had previously contacted u haul via an 800#. as i was speaking w a representative she informed me if i were to go over 100 miles as I had told her my estimated mileage would be between 75-100, i would be automatically moved into the commercial category for mileage charges which would be $0.29p/m rather than the $0.79. i expressed my surprise as well as delight stating i had not known that fact but would keep it in the back of my mind for future rentals w u haul. w that info in mind i proceeded w this most recent van rental. as i was in the process of moving my household items to my new address i found it necessary to extend initial use for an additional 2 days. again keeping in mind what i was told not just by the 800# rep but by the manager of the u haul angel who when i asked if i go over the 100 miles then my mileage rate would be $0.29 and he w/o hesitation said yes w no further explanations offerd just as the 800# rep had explained. again keeping this info in mind i felt it was economically prudent for me to extend my days of rental as the mileage charge would be significantly less. so not only did i extend the use i also put substantially more mile on the van than i had estimated. when i returned the van after 4 days of use w 190 miles i was told by the young man what my charges were and i immediately responded by explaining to him what i had been told by the 800# rep as well as having queried the manager angel. he was very polite in his responses to me but did not relent in is canned responses to my dissatisfaction w the mileage charges. i told him i can see from the chart on the side wall where the commercial rates would be applied but that that was not what i had been told by the 800# rep and confirmed by the manager. he asked if he could add the additional charges onto my card and i emphatically said no u can not!! i asked him for the contact info for the regional manager not a corporate #. he pointed to the front door saying it's printed there on a piece of paper. i said thank you and left. i still do not want nor do I agree to any additional charges applied to my bank card.

They did not have the truck we requested 1 month in advance. Our original pickup location was Allentown. We were sent to this location in lieu of the Allentown location to pick up a 17' vs a 20' truck.

The location is currently being remodeled and appeared understaffed. Perhaps as a result, the equipment was snow covered and latches were frozen. Usually this location is excellent.

The staff of the office in bethlehem should be more professional, first he was not behaving with the kindness he should because he told me that he was not going to revive the truck because there was no parking, and yes there was parking

The Pickup was in good shape but wreaked of cigarette smoke and the clock was still not adjusted to daylight savings time. The manager was fine although not very friendly. Other than that it was peachy.
