First of all, the initial location I was meant to pick up at was in Camden and the 10 ft truck I booked and confirmed pick-up with the day before would not start when I came to pick it up. I then had to leave work early, miss a function with my daughter, drive 1 hour (round-trip) out of the way to pick up the truck in Bishopville. During the encounter picking up the truck, the man who was helping me stepped away to check out other customers 10-12 times, pausing my transaction 10-12 times. Therefore it took at least twice as long to finish my transaction. Also, after checking with him twice before he charged me that the cost was going to be the same for the replacement truck as the initial truck, he proceeded to charge me $200 more than the initial truck. When this was pointed out, he had to start the process all over again. Therefore, my card was charged by Uhaul 3 times that day for 1 truck (once in Camden and twice in Bishopville), when it should have been charged once. This led me to having a negative balance on my card since each charge was between $1100 and $1400 (which I did not know until I tried to pay for gas the next morning for said Uhaul). This was an extremely negative experience for me and I will likely not use Uhaul again in the future.

CHARLES BIt's a very small town so I'm really just glad there was some place to return the trailer, but I did not get a receipt or anything confirming the return, which made me a little leery.
