i had excellent customer service. i thought i was getting a 17 foot but ended up with a 15 ft. our stuff barely fit but we were so glad to have a uhaul - it made moving so much easier.

I drove 7 miles and was initially charged 70 . We worked through it and I showed the agents wher I had driven and they believed me and entered in the mileage manually. Thank you ! I use this location about 6 times a year and rarely have problems...

Computer was down and they could not give me my reserved trailer until they went back on. I would suggest some kind of paper method in these rare situations. It cost me $30 extra because I missed an appointment that I had to change.

I sent a complaint over before and have yet to hear anything back. I was so disappointed. The bountiful utah location I went to I will never go to again and would never recommend it to anyone. I use to love uhaul and have used you many times for my moves. When I arrived at the store they were just sitting there looking depresssd and uninterested. I had a reservation at 3pm but called around 2:45 to say I was gonna be late because the person to drop me off couldn’t make it and they said that’s fine I said I’d be around 4:30 and they said fine. I said it was a problem I would come and they said no it was fine. I get there and the women said I had a reservation at 2 and I was late I said no it was 3 and I called she said it did you well the original pick up time was 2 and we had to keep dumping you and we rented out your truck to someone else. They said they had a bigger one but it was due by 9 the next day and same thing with a smaller one due by 10 but I wasn’t getting my keys till the next day. I wanted to pack up the truck the day before and make two trips at the most once I got my keys because I had work that night. All they had to offer me was a cargo van, I had no choice but to take it. After discussing it with a friend I came back in and said I’d take it and I showed the guy my reservation confirmation and said it was 3, he goes whatever I don’t know what happened. As I’m standing there the lady that helped me before is calling someone to tell them they couldn’t get their truck till a later time the other lady there said man you are pissing people off today and she goes like I care I don’t care who the hell i piss off right in front of me, not only a customer but someone whoshe had just pissed off. Anyways so they through in a free dolly which really doesn’t help since I’m gonna have to spend more money because of trips and time. So I ended up not finishing intime because I had to make so many trips because I could only fit 1 2 bigger items at a time and then put boxes around them, so I called to tell them and even tho had I had my truck I could have been done hours ago but they charged me another days worth, oh and rude about it too. I’m sure this will go in fixed and I will just never use you guys again based off this company, I especially think this because I never got a response for my first email complaint (maybe it never went through but it said it did).

When I reserved the van your website indicated I could do a quick checkout using the code provided. When I went to pick up the van the person behind the counter didn't know that was even possible so had to go they the whole check out procedure. She brought van over to me. When I returned the van the person checking me back in couldn't find any record of me renting a van. I had the van, handed her the keys. There's no mistake I had a van. She says I must have been trying to return it to the wrong location. No, the van has their name and address on the side. They can't find me in the computer even though I have the reservation number and paperwork. She calls manager on phone. Their best GUESS is that they gave me the wrong van. Nice new van but damn the customer service sucks.

My husband called at 6;20 to rent a car dolly. WAS told it would not be available until 8am the next day. we rode over to Bountiful to your business and there were several sitting there. He feels lied because you did not want to do the work that close to closing. He had already done all the paper work earlier in the day. But our truck became available that evening.It was 6:45 when we pulled in there.

I had to travel an extra 20 miles to this location in bountiful Utah because my truck was not ready. It was the 4th truck I rented from UHaul in 3 months and every time I have had to drive to some other distant location at a different time than requested. Each time I was told that pickup is a "preference". This is customer service B.S. At its worst. I scheduled trucks many days and usually weeks in advance and then was given runaround and excuses for the inconvenience. The people in Bountiful UT were excellent and resolved the problem, but only after a horrible experience with UHaul at other locations.

The vehicle I rented had hard water stains on the windshield which affect vision in bright sunlight. I returned to the office and ask them to clean the windshield. A service representative stated that they had tried everything to remove the spots. I suggested using vinegar. No response. No action taken. Not even an offer to change to a new vehicle, Also, the vehicle's steering wheel was off center. That is to say when the tires were pointing straight forward, the crossbar of the steering wheel was off center by about 10 - 15 degrees with the crossbar slanting downward to the left.

Make sure your staff is not misrepresenting the amount of gas in the vehicle. I signed the contract with it stating there was 7/8 of a tank of gas. It was 3/4.

Melinda hooked up the trailer to our truck. When we left the parking lot it came off and we immediately turned into Toyota parking lot. It was very dangerous and we were lucky it did not damage our vehicle or cause an accident. I called back and the other girl working answered the phone. When I asked for Melinda she said she was not there even though it had only been 2 min since we left. That girl put me on hold. In the meantime a very great guy at Toyota came out & helped my husband put it back on. This took about 10 min & I was on hold the entire time. No one ever came back to me. We drove around the block & went back to UHaul & the girls looked at it & said it was good and my husband tightened it down several more times and we left. I think the people helping should know how to properly attach the trailer and tighten it up enough so this does not happen. After that everything was fine.

I went to the Bountiful store after having a disappointing experience at your 3900 so 55 east location earlier that day. I had made a "reservation" to pick up the truck at 11am. When I arrived I was informed that they did not have a truck for me. I was disappointed and asked why. The "customer service" guy informed me that a reservation only reserves my spot in line and was not a guarantee that I'd get a truck. After a brief and non-commital discussion of how I might possibly be able to get a truck a few hours later, another bald headed gentleman behind the counter told me that I could try another company. I was like "whoa what now?" He told me "well if you're not happy then screw U-haul. You can call Pensky or another company". So in other words I can take my business somewhere else? I just walked out. I was so disappointed. I can understand that maybe someone didn't bring a truck back on time. I understand that I booked the truck last minute on a Saturday. But you took my reservation with the expectation that I'd get a truck. Then I get this attitude. I was upset but never used profanity. I was calm and rational. I am surprised to be treated so poorly by a company that should value every customer. There was no empathy. No willingness to find an option. No real customer service. There was no one else in the store so no need to rush me out. They were just sitting around talking when I came in. I had to do my own leg work and was able to get a truck in your bountiful location despite your employees advice to try another company. The general manager in your bountiful store was awesome. Friendly and efficient. He thoroughly explained everything to me and made things easy. The girl that inspected the vehicle upon drop off with the green hair was very nice and pleasant. It was all positive vibes and hi-5's. Your 3900 south store needs to take a training on customer service from your Bountiful store.

Customers should check the fuel gauge before accepting . Tank may not be full as advertised from last customer. Overall, very easy efficient rental system, and friendly helpful staff!
